Me and my missus shed several tears over the Hillsborough documentary this evening.

Still makes me seeth that a few arse covering shysters can have caused so much anguish to so many people for so long.

Felt almost as much for the decent coppers who found that their words had been mangled and 'sanitised' to support the lies made up by their masters.

For shame.

Now the families of the 96 have a small semblance of peace, it's time for the arse coverers to get the only justice THEY deserve.

JFT 96 YNWA.

Well the game today was a really odd one, it absolutely screamed of end of the season, it felt like a friendly in anfield. The heat and anticipation for the final just made the game such a drag, and you could see it in the performance from both teams, it was an effort to pay attention sometimes.

That said i thought stewart had a brilliant game, really looked good, and benteke was unceremoniously anti-man of the match and showed exactly why he will be leaving. I have seen few more frustrating performances from a centre forward than that. He doesn't move, his touch and passing and decision making is woeful, and his effort to make movement, latch onto the end of balls, get on the end of crosses, generally have any intensity in any aspect of his game whether it be shooting, dribbling or moving, the effort is next to nothing. He is too infuriating for words.

Ibe was terrible once again, but i think people seem to forget that sterling was almost out of the team for a whole year, and wasnt that good at the start of 2012/ 13 either - he scored 1 goal and had little end product, but he did run with the ball. The point being that we often forget the struggles that sterling had before the media started kissing his arse - if you can call them struggles at all, it is standard for a young player. I will be surprised if klopp gets rid of ibe as i would expect him to have way more care and patience with a clearly talented young player.

Excited just to see the final now, i personally think that, under the circumstances, the 2 finals klopp has got to this year is a much bigger achievement than anything brendan managed, and that was with a fully fit sturridge, coutinho, suarez, sterling and gerrard. We've had milner, lallana and benteke most of the time. I think its clear to see we are going in the right direction at the right pace, no matter what happens in the final, and i can't wait for next year.

09 May 2016 01:08:22
Actually i tot benteke actually move more in this game.

09 May 2016 07:58:02
To be fair he did have an assist.

09 May 2016 08:42:51
Yes i know he had an assist but quite literally every other thing he did in the game, all of it, was wrong. Aside from that assist he didn't do a single thing right.

09 May 2016 19:07:04
He also set up coutinho with a golden chance.

09 May 2016 05:31:41
AW

Sterling benefited from the small team we had 3 years ago. Wouldn't be the case for next season as the club is specifically looking at Wingers and Milner / Lallana if stays would make his life even more miserable for games. I guess he is off in the summer and Klopp prefers Ojo ATM.

08 May 2016 21:42:18
Really annoyed about Ibe, its not as if the comparisons to Sterling came out of the blue, in preseason he literally looked quality. I know it was preseason but he was one of our best players in most of the games, opposition would be doubling up on him and that's why all of us reds thought "Wow, who needs Sterling? " To say he has been poor this season would be an understatement. I was so excited to see how he would fare, now he will likely be sent away, which is his own fault. I understand that young players have good patches and bad patches, but he has come so far away from what he was at the begining of the season, not scared to run at a man (and could beat them pretty easily) had a decent shot on him, I'm not seeing any of it now. The club have given him many many chances this season so I do not disagree with the decision to let him go (if we do) but still feel he could develop over the next 2 years especially with a loan spell to a PL club, but i guess we'll wait and see. What do you guys think?

Believable3 Unbelievable7

08 May 2016 22:00:44
Just having a bad season. Others have had bad seasons in the past - Hendo, Lucas, Sterling.
I'd keep him he'll be a better player in a few years.

08 May 2016 22:55:15
As I said here many times, I don't think he was any worse this season than last season (of what I have seen in preseason the whole team looked pretty awful) . He has some skills in terms of getting the ball and go past the first defender but nothing other than that and I said it already last season.

The idea that he is anything like Sterling was always laughable to me. I actually think he slightly improved in recent weeks in the games I saw (didn't see the game today) look around a bit more, passes the ball more. He still has long long way to go.

09 May 2016 00:25:04
He was never as good as Sterling. Even though Raheem is playing poor now, nobody would ever come and pay almost £50million for Jordan Ibe. Never ever.
Stupid fans and ex players knowing nothing about players again, heaping unmeasurable pressure on a kid.
It's Ruined him.

09 May 2016 04:31:44
He needs the summer, and perhaps a loan after that, to the right club.

09 May 2016 06:37:12
He's trying too hard IMO.
AG is right, Klopp will get his head straight. Sure you need hard work but you need to play a lot on instinct.
Ibe doesn't look like he's enjoying it anymore.

He'll be fine, some people forget how young he is.

09 May 2016 12:48:31
nobody will pay £50million for Raheem sterling ever again either, how has that worked out for man city? ron is right people forget how young ibe is, if he does leave in the summer I think that would be a mistake on our part, at the moment ojo is getting praised, when he has a bad spell do we just dump him as well? thankfully klopp has a good record with young players.

09 May 2016 05:33:39
Sterling was the best to come out from the academy since Gerrard. Ibe isn't half of Sterling. We over hyped like we always do with our youngsters. Suso for example. Ibe is a very direct player who use his strength to get past the players unfortunately he isn't now.

08 May 2016 19:35:31
Ed002 could you elaborate on ibe? I understand he may be surplus but with looking for wingers as klopp has said does this mean klopp doesn't rate him or rates ojo more? Or likely someone else may come in to replace him?

Believable2 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - I would not try to make too much of it - players come and go. There is a good chance he will go. If Liverpool want to bring players in then space needs to be made.}

08 May 2016 19:03:22
Would like to congratulate Kuyt on a good season in the Eredivise. 19 goals! Feyenord didn't keep up the good form like he hoped but 19 goals at his age is cracking!

Believable19 Unbelievable5

08 May 2016 19:44:59
And the Dutch Cup to boot. Truly, one of the most courageous, most humble and most hardworking players I've ever seen in my time watching the game. True legend.

08 May 2016 19:35:57
He did turn up at the second semifinal at Anfield with his kids.
An adopted Scouser. Absolute legend.

09 May 2016 03:15:48
Top man and a true gentleman.

08 May 2016 18:06:37
Thought Lucas, Stewart were outstanding today and split between them who would have been my MOM. Allen was all over he park and a nice goal. Migs had a fantastic save and even Skrtel looked more confident for having Lucas alongside him

Upfront thought Benteke did a lot better. Although he should have scored, he put in a shift and had an excellent assist and should have had 1 more if Coutinho had finished it off. Ojo looking more and more comfortable at this level and Couts/ Firmino directed play well from no.10.

Job well done Reds!

Believable9 Unbelievable7

08 May 2016 20:01:21
Would say BENTEKE trying to prove himself for other teams to buy him. great result today after all those changes .

08 May 2016 20:40:23
Well Kingluis it doesn't matter if he's trying to prove himself to us or to other teams; I'm glad he's actually putting in effort now!

Kopchu.

08 May 2016 17:52:14
Done what we needed to without getting out of 1st gear.

Not player bashing or anything but how many chances does Ibe need before he does anything worth remembering at the end of the game. Think someone's told him he's better than he is too soon.

Stewart looked better today, much better.

Believable10 Unbelievable6

08 May 2016 19:33:43
Ibe has really gone of the boil now. Its not two or three games, he has been poor for nearly 5 months now. Maybe a loan move to a mid table outfit like Swansea or Watford might take the pressure off him and allow him to get regular games without being shoved into the spotlight time and again.

08 May 2016 15:36:01
Just a quick question. who do the eds think is liverpools player of the year? I never thought I would be saying this but I would go for lovren (I've slated him in the past) has proven to me now that we can rely on him going into next season now.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

{Ed023's Note - I've enjoyed watching Firmino this season to be honest and I am excited for him going into next season}

08 May 2016 18:04:23
got to be between can/ loveren/ firmino would of put sakho in if not for the ban cheers but young player has to be origi.

08 May 2016 18:12:39
Firmino for me. 11 goals and 11 assists in his first season at the club.

08 May 2016 18:16:39
Can. It's not even close. What a player he's becoming.

08 May 2016 18:33:24
Player of the season is tough. Credit to Lovren for fighting for his place and showing he can be a top class defender. Can has shown at times he has a huge future in the centre of our midfield. Firmino has been a tremendous signing. 11 goals and 11 assists. Unsung hero has to go to James Milner, has surprised me by the fact he's well in to double figure for assists and has weighed in with goals as well as running himself into the ground for the team, like seeing Dirk Kuyt back again.

08 May 2016 18:38:01
1.Firmino.
2.Origi.

Two superstars for next season.

08 May 2016 18:38:01
1.Firmino.
2.Origi.

Two superstars for next season.

08 May 2016 18:44:25
Firmino. Individual skill, creativity and can play any of the attacking postions. Team-player.

08 May 2016 19:33:36
Strange this, I could say lovren, can or firmino, under Rodgers you wouldn't think any had a spot in the first team let alone player of the year.
Was thinking today how many players have started to look un-sellable under Klopp as well, the three mentioned above plus origi, Lallana, Milner and even Allen look like completely different players now, if any are sold then I will miss them.
Back onto player of the season, lovren for me, but notable mentions to firmino, can, origi and toure.
I would put money on firmino being next years player of the season though, can see him being the best player in the league actually, or at least up there.

08 May 2016 19:39:13
Got to be Firmino for me. Lovren would be most improved under Klopp. Can has put in some fantastic performances but has also been too inconsistent to be considered imo.

08 May 2016 20:05:29
Firminho will be top player next year can is improving every game and will be a very good player next term, but I think Joe Allen has been very good since Kloop took charge and would keep him for next season found great energy under Jurgen . and finally I think Danny inns will thrive under Kloop.

08 May 2016 21:39:34
James Milner.

08 May 2016 22:34:14
Think it is Coutinho's turn. Firmino close second, and I do have a thought that Lovren and Can could be in the mix.
Fact, none of the players have shown enough consistency, all of them had their bad patches/ injuries/ etc., but Couts has scored some of our most important goals this season, so it should go to him.

09 May 2016 04:41:30
james milner.

08 May 2016 17:13:33
Thank you for response just hope it was Klopp who spotted the talent when he was in Germany and he would be able to it now.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - That is not really how it works.}

08 May 2016 16:54:19
May I ask any of the edds did Klopp bring some of the scouts he had with him in Germany. As either he or his scouts had a good thing for spotting talent.

Believable0 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - No but there have been some changes in scouting staff and Liverpool are actively trying to recruit one for a particular area.}

08 May 2016 17:24:47
Is this zielinski ed?

{Ed002's Note - No Bosco, Zielinski is not a scout.}

08 May 2016 18:13:52
Which area is this they are looking at Ed002? Is it to scout for a specific region like South America?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, a specific area, to replace someone who has left.}

08 May 2016 16:48:59
Hey eds.
Any truth in Arsenal's interest in Sturridge?
Cheers.

Good luck to Big Ben today! Hope he gets a hatful . Don't think he's been given a fair crack and would like to see him do well for us!

Believable5 Unbelievable5

08 May 2016 17:01:03
I think he's had a fair crack. Scored a few yeah, but lack of effort is not excuseable. Not a bad player but not for us. Origi offers more, Sturridge is a better finisher and with Ings to come in, he has no future in my eyes at Liverpool.

Just read that Ward is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Looks like Bogdan is back to being the backup for the rest of the EPL games and the EL Final, unless there's someone else I am not aware of. Incredible, the amount and timing of the bad luck we have been having all season long with injuries. We've been beating the odds thus far, and trust that we'l continue doing it ;-)

Believable3 Unbelievable2

08 May 2016 14:48:31
Bogdan not in Europa league squad, Ward replaced him.

{Ed002's Note - Fulton and George are on the B list.}

08 May 2016 21:41:43
From what I've seen of Shamal George at youth level I've been impressed, fingers crossed we won't need a backup though.

08 May 2016 13:36:20
I am disappointed for rossiter but, well stewart did get his chance and he is good backup. Now with allen, can, henderson and grujic coming we have good strength in midfield.

Glad to see ojo offered chance, but one more top winger definitely be in plan. But that will restrict milner / lallan from 1st team.

Not sure whether lb is a priority but moreno always give me fear.

Have a very poistive feeling about current attacking options. if we can keep benteke, that will be plus. especially considering the fact origi and ings can operate from wings.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

08 May 2016 14:33:49
Markovic may return and under klopp could turn out to be the " top winger"

08 May 2016 13:11:52
Looks like rossiter is heading away. Plagued by injuries, and maybe a little small for a cm, but can't help but feel he may have earned one more season due to his reputation before injuries.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

08 May 2016 12:06:01
I've seen the list of wingers Ed put up just wondering if that had changed at all? I like the look of Julian Brandt and it would be great to see the kid at Liverpool. Young and playing in Germany surprised he's not been linked already.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - He was looked at in 2013 by a previous manager. If you want to know about interest in random European players you need to really use the European pages.}

08 May 2016 12:24:16
He's young, he's German - expect a bid well below his market value 😎.

08 May 2016 13:12:21
Or well above it.?

08 May 2016 12:03:30
So unless something dramatic happens I'm pretty sure we'll listen to offers for Benteke this summer and it got me thinking, where might be realistically move? Forget the cliches like playing for big Sam at Sunderland, I think his level is much higher than that.

Could he go to one of the big clubs? I think utd and chelsea are looking for strikers this summer but a real dark horse could be arsenal. Don't laugh, there's method in the madness. Benteke is a technical player (big tick for wenger) and his physicality could be the answer to all those people who are fed up with the over elaborate play that gets arsenal nowhere every year. He's probably a better goal scorer than Giroud as well.

I don't actually think it would happen but it's an interesting hypothetical.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

08 May 2016 12:17:35
If Benteke go to a team like Arsenal he can win them the title. If he' goes to West Ham he can help them challenge for top 4 . He's that good he can 20 goals plas.

08 May 2016 12:18:41
No he couldn't go to one of the big clubs because he isn't good enough. If he can't get into Liverpools team, what makes you think he'd get into Arsenals team?
Be sat on the bench there aswel.

08 May 2016 12:17:35

08 May 2016 13:04:26
I don't think that he's not good enough Dbol, I think he's not suited to Klopp's high tempo pressing game, Wenger plays very different. I certainly think he'd do better than Giroud.

08 May 2016 13:07:30
Red Reus, you are fooling yourself if you think a lazy player like Benteke will win Arsenal the PL. Players like Sanchez, Ozil, Giroud, Ramsey and even Welbeck have tried and failed and if he can't even get into our team, what makes you think he'll get into their team? As for WH, Carroll is a much better player than him right now even tho CB has more potential of being better but never shows it.

08 May 2016 13:49:19
With players like Ozil and Sanchez create chances for Benteke he would score 20 goals easy look at how many Giroud got this season. Be for he was injured he was playing he than got injured and Origi could his chance.

08 May 2016 13:16:34
Lol Muscat. Arsnenal plays the pass and move football and the last they need is Benteke.
I disagree with the OP. He will score goals at every club. If he came in for less than £20 mill ( which I believe his actual value is ) . He would have been considered a success.

08 May 2016 15:21:01
We've got better striking options in Sturridge origi Ings and if needed firmino than most teams. Giroud Walcott and welbeck are all average, aguero is top and iheanacho looks good and bony, so they'll be fine, apart from Costa Chelsea have no real backup bar remy and United have rashford and martial and an ageing Rooney. I think he'd have more chance of getting games at any of them bar city than us. Even Spurs and Leicester have no real backup, I can see him leaving to someone in the prem higher than us.

08 May 2016 15:30:41
Fencey, an extra biscuit for you for actually entertaining my little thought experiment :-)

08 May 2016 18:38:37
Benteke will go to another club, score 6 goals in 4 games then go 8 games without a goal (repeat)

08 May 2016 11:18:03
Does anyone know if we are playing the Europa final in our home or away strip? We always play better in red!

{Ed002's Note - Home.}

08 May 2016 10:44:08
Eds reds considering the very low ticket allocation for the europa cup final- couldn't lfc install a big screen at anfield and have the fans in watching together for those of us who won't be lucky enough to get a ticket- instead if pubs bars clubs etc- also the club charging a reasonable price making more money? ?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Yes they could do that but they certainly won't be making more money by doing it.}

08 May 2016 12:22:55
Thanks ed02 yep after I sent it I meant to say they won't be making more money re reasonable price my mistake I've just seen tony Barratt of the times discussing this - he's saying it would disturbe the building programme but its only five or six days after the last league game?

{Ed002's Note - They could work around it if they want to.}

08 May 2016 13:55:15
Cheers ed. i'm sure they could.

08 May 2016 15:22:16
Rather watch it at a pub tbh, Closer to the screen and the bar.

08 May 2016 09:11:43
One of Liverpool's best young players is set to leave for next to nothing, Jordan Rossiter will join Rangers this summer for a compensation fee of only £250,000. Jerome Sinclair is set to join Watford but they will have to pay a tribunal fee between £1.5m-3m as it is another English club. Jerome Sinclair was Liverpools youngest ever player and touted for big things, Jordon Ibe was touted as the replacement for Raheem Sterling while Lallana along with one or two others said Rossiter was Liverpools best young player, now they are on the brink of leaving the club. Is there something wrong with the transition from youth to senior in the club? Jordan Ibe wants to leave this summer with a number of clubs interested but unlike Sinclair and Rossiter he is not out of contract and it is likely Liverpool will loan him out for a year before making a final decision on his future. If our very best youth players can't make the breakthrough maybe we need to have another look at our academy. Marko Grujic will join Liverpool this summer, he is the same age as Rossiter and plays in the same position. You could forgive Rossiter for looking to move on, after working your way up through the ranks of youth football as soon as your of age another guy is signed to essentially take your place in the first team squad. I'd prefer to see Rossiter given a shot rather than spending £5m. Teixiera is another slightly older prospect who just hasn't had a chance and will leave for nothing this summer. Liverpool will look to move on a number of senior players Enrique, Skrtel, Ilori, Bogdan, Lucas, Alberto, Balotelli, Benteke and Toure, who will be offered a coaching role. Liverpool will seal a place in next season champions league next season should they beat Sevilla in 10 days time and that will give them an unexpected financial boost. Joel Matip and Marko Grujic are already signed for next season. Klopps first port of call is defence with Timo Horn, Ben Chilwell and Thomas Vermaelen his top targets. In midfield Granit Xhaka is wanted to replace Lucas while a bit further forward Klopp is keen to be reunited with out of favour Mario Gotze. Kevin Volland is the final target, he is an inverted winger who runs all day but can also play up top or anywhere along the front line. A forward much more suited to Klopp then Benteke.

Believable2 Unbelievable14

08 May 2016 10:10:20
At the end of the day it´s Klopp who decides who´s getting a chance or not. Rossiter looked decent, but injuries has stalled his progress. Sinclair has a poor attitude (look at his choice of agent) .
Ibe is not progressing at the moment, so it makes sense to loan him out, so he can get some first team footy. Teixeira is apparently deemed not good enough.

I find it hard to believe that any of Xhaka, Goetze and Volland are our top targets.

08 May 2016 10:45:53
Rossiters development has stalled and he has fallen behind the likes of stewart and chivarella. This is a good move for him and the club and nothing to do with transition.

Sinclair simply is not good enough to succeed here and will do ok in the lower leagues.

Ibe is missing something mentally and while undoubtedly talented he is lacking that little extra effort to improve his game. Maybe some time out on loan again will do him some good.

There are no guarantees grujic will go onto the first team, he is still raw for me but talented so he will get game time.

Matip is replacing outgoing players etc so i'm not sure what point you were trying to make in your post.

08 May 2016 10:47:54
In terms of targets there will be a Plan A for if we do qualify for champions league and a plan B for if we don't.
However, we must remember we have made 1 signing already in Matip and the likes of Markovic and Grujic are coming back from loan.
The squad needs to be cut drastically and the likes of Rossiter and Tex have a lot of competition ahead of them. They are better of finding first team football elsewhere to be honest.
I'm hoping for a streamlined squad for next season with only a few additions - Goalkeeper, left back and maybe a central midfielder.

If we're not in champions league then we can afford to let the squad develop at a gentler pace, if we're in champions league then we will need quite a lot more quality.

08 May 2016 10:56:58
Actually Alberto has express he will want to stay at Anfield and perform for klopp rather than opt for La liga.

08 May 2016 11:48:39
Alberto Moreno or Luis Alberto?
Either way, they have to convince Klopp they are worthy of staying which I don't think either has yet.

08 May 2016 13:10:06
That is not Luis Alberto's decision to make.

08 May 2016 11:28:02
There is nothing wrong, We over hype some of our youngsters. Their performance in the U21 has been terrible.

08 May 2016 15:26:36
Sinclair and rossiter were touted for big things, but since then Flanagans broken into the team, along with Stewart and ojo getting there. Smiths had chances and origi and can although being signed, really broken through. Some players push on more than others, sinclairs attitude is poor, and probably owing to injuries rossiter hasn't developed as much as thought. Still got plenty of talent, and a lot of them have made their first team debut.

08 May 2016 08:52:56
What's the reason we are letting Sinclair leave for? I'm worried he will actually turn out to be a very good player and it will come back to haunt us.

Believable2 Unbelievable10

{Ed002's Note - It is the end of his contract and he knows opportunities at Liverpool will be slim or zip going forward.}

08 May 2016 09:30:33
Why wasn't Sinclair given more or a chance Ed, is he simply not good enough or was timing against him due to the fact the Brendan was under pressure to keep his job nearing the end and couldn't take the risk of playing the likes of Sinclair and then in came klopp who had senior strikers whom he wanted to get a good look at before deciding what is needed this summer.

{Ed001's Note - attitude. Says it all that he chose to appoint Aidy Ward as his agent. That guy is the epitome of all that is wrong with agents.}

If they were good enough then they would have made the grade. May seem harsh but that is the truth.

Shame they didn't get more opportunities to play at 1st team level but the pressure on results.

Thanks Ed.

Im not worried at all about him leaving, no different to tom ince, limited ability and inflated ego equals championship football.

It is always a problem at all big clubs. Barcelona had to buy Suarez and Neymar to play up front, and how many top prospects do you think they have kicking around their club? Top teams want top players, and the likelihood that they are born near your stadium is slim. Sometimes it does happen, which makes the likes of Fowler and Gerrard all the sweeter.

However I agree with you in the fact that often you just don't know how well someone will do until they get thrown in - usually due to injuries. I seem to remember that this was kind of the case with Owen, and to a degree Kane at Spurs. The key is to really take your chances when you have the opportunity, and have a good mentality and probably a little bit of luck.

We have an over inflated expectation of what the academy can achieve. We're looking for exceptional players and they're rare. It's even rarer when a player who is released goes on to demonstrate that the club was wrong to do so. Just be happy when a player does make it and wish the others well on their way.

Kane and Vardy is the best examples of achieving succes.
Kane has and does work his socks off to better himself at every given chance.
Vardy came from lower league football and got a big payday. Went the wrong way with it, started drinking every night. He listened and has transformed his career. He never gave up and again is a hard worker.

They both have cracked it and both should start at the Euro's and there both constantly still grafting without the I have cracked it already mentality.

For info all, and for people with access to uk to, there's a documentary on tonight at 2100 on bbc2 about Hillsborough. It's a running of an espn documentary that's only been accessible to the uk via the Internet, and it holds information that required the hilsborough family members to sign non disclosure agreements before they were allowed to watch it so as to not prejudice the proceedings.

It's over two hours long so you might want to record it. It gives previously unseen footage and information and I'm told by a family member of one of the deceased that it's worth a watch.

Just thought I'd let all know in case you're not aware.

Thanks for the info Marshy. Hillsborough has been with me for 27 years and I was part of the investigations. Hope the families find some peace from the decision and hope that Dukinfield is brought to justice for the terrible deceipt that him and his colleagues hid for years.

Thanks for letting us know mate. It's going to be hard viewing but if we can it's something we should try and watch.

I asked the question few months back about who was our player of the season. Back then I couldn't pick out anyone and let's face it we all struggled. Fast forward a few months and some players have really stood out. Granted it's probably down to the manager but for me our player for the second half of the season lovern and I'm the first to say he wasn't good enough. Really impressed with divock because I honestly didn't think he was as good as he is. Its going to be an interesting summer.

Coutinho's been most consistently good throughout the year but Lovren, Firmino, Milner, Can have all come on strong in second half of the season post Klopps arrival.

08 May 2016 07:17:32
Iam giving it to coutino and players player to Firmino.

08 May 2016 07:24:08
I would have to chose between Firmino, Can and Sakho, even though all three have had poor games. But overall, Firmino would have to be the player of the year, for me. He combines moments of brilliant individual brilliance with creativity in playing with/ for the rest of the team, more than anyone else.

Lucas: After almost getting shown the door got back into the team and things have looked up ever since. been a rock for jurgen. even at center half.

I said back then when you asked and I didn't change my mind that it has to be Toure. The only player who I don't remember had an off day this season. Brilliant. I wonder what is the W L D statistics with him and without him this season.

08 May 2016 09:37:16
Lovern for me, just because how badly he played last year to where he is now. A massive turnaround in form.

08 May 2016 11:31:22
Firmino shades it with Lovren runner up imo. Origi would come close too - rarely put a foot wrong in his limited game time.

08 May 2016 12:49:49
Coutinho, for consistently stepping up with big goals whenever needed. Not always great but has done the business when we needed it most.

08 May 2016 14:57:08
Lovren or Firminio for me.
