Do the Eds and fellow fans thing SG will start when he gets over his injury. If yes who will he replace?

He should be on the bench as he is a liability as a starter.

I feel like he will start, but I don't think he deserves to. Allen, Henderson, Can, Lucas have all been excellent or us in recent weeks (or before Lucas injury) where Gerrard has been somewhat lackluster this season.
I'm sure he can come off the bench to change games and that is how I'd use him.

No way should Gerrard just waltz back into the first team. Use him as an impact sub for the rest of the season. People here are just too blind to accept the first team is better off without Gerrard. The club has moved on from him, and so should the fans. For how long are the likes of Hendo and Lucas expected to cover up for his inability to run around the pitch for 90 mins? I would stick with Hendo and Allen as CMs for the time being till Lucas gets fit and use Gerrard for the last 30 mins to make an impact in an attacking role.

Gerrard as an impact player used to be good, but that was when Coutinho used to fade towards the end of a match. Now that he is performing through the match, and scoring, who does Gerrard sub?
