Hope all this talk of Walcott is exactly that - talk.

Has all the attributes, but lacks the brain.

Injury prone for me

I don't think Theo is as bad as made out, He never was and never will be a winger. Arsene playing him there shows how out of touch he was with his squad. He's very good playing centrally on the last man and forces team to sit deep. On the odd occasions Arsene played him as a striker he's been clinical and scored almost a goal a game. Playing him out wide is a waste of his talent

Too lightweight and injury prone. Waste of money IMHO.

I like Walcott, might not be the best tactically but for the money required he wouldn't be a good purchase, injury prone too.

Bobatron is on the mark here. Walcott has suffered from having a lot of the credentials wingers have and, as a result, being played there. His best position is definitely central and the damage he does is far greater - if Sterling were to go (and I sincerely hope he doesn't) then he would be a decent shout as a replacement and, probably, than the fee it would take for us to sell Sterling (though by no means cheap).

I would rather we gave youth a chance than buy Walcott. The latter could surely not be argued to have been money spent wisely.

Again, if we sell sterling we would be wiser to spend on Fermino or Lacazette rather than someone like Walcott.

Walcott is not who we need either on the field or on the treatment table. He is not good enuff as a striker nor a winger and will b a sicknote on big wages and we cannot afford that type of investment because we already have one in Studge. Give Ibe/Marko/Ojo/Tex a chance and focus on bringing in a top class striker with all that money who can score goals and stay fit for a long time.

He would not be my first choice either but as a club we are hampered by a number of factors:

1) finances
2) players willing to move to our club
3) availability of top class players to fill the boots of Sterling if he were to leave

Personally I think we should do everything to keep Sterling - he is going to be a world beater in a few years, if we sell him I don't see us finding an adequate, long term replacement.
