It is tradition for me to do 2 things after a Liverpool defeat.
1. Dust off the champ manager.
2. Moan about the ref.
That ref was shabbite.
He did not cost us the game, definitely not.
But it won't stop me from slating him.
He books Allen for nothing in that first half and then warns Fellaini after his 4th foul.
He then went on to commit another 6 fouls. 6 Fouls?
Jones was not booked for nearly decapitating Lallana and his booking later on Hendo would have seen him depart.
I just don't get how you can book a player for his first foul and then warn the opposition player after his 4th foul???
What is that all about.
Can someone explain the consistency in that officiating.
That is my ref rant over.
I know he did not cost us the game but why break the habit of a lifetime.
As for Champ manager. I have the 2010 version when Hicks and Gillette where there. You get about 20 packets of crisps and double decker for your transfer kitty.
Did anyone have that version.
Hard.
Gerrard is still good though. sobs.

Sorry Jonnybarnes, you can moan about the referee all you like but Brendan was simply out managed and out thought by a far more experienced and astute manager again. That's why we lost yesterday and its been coming for a while. Teams have worked out how to play against us now and Brendan is too dumb and ignorant to see it.

The standard of officiating in PL has been nothing short of shocking for a while and it is astounding how it got worse this year again.

Think it was pretty even as skyrtel never got red, and we never got a pen when mingolet clearly pushes Herrera over at a corner.
{Ed001's Note - I would agree with that, I didn't think the ref did too badly personally, he just wasn't perfect, but he is human.}

As for being out thought by a more experienced manager.
That is the first time it has happened in 14 games.
Pellegrini, Pochettino, Pardew and Koeman have been out thought by Rodgers recently so I don't see your point.
As long as he learns from it then we will be ok.

I was going to post the same this morning after the dust had settled.
The standard across the premiere league this year has been very poor.
Do any of yous think video ref would of improved the decisions made yesterday?
There where bad decisions against both sides.

Will be interesting to see if Brendan changes the system again after it's obvious he's been found out with this one, or wil he stick with it until the team Is in a shambles again.
I fear the latter as Brendan is far too slow as a manager to change tactics, however I hope he has learnt his lesson and changes to the diamond or something.
He needs to get Lucas back into the team and get Can out of defence as he's been found out now.

Brendan stuck to a tactic that had worked.
It wasn't his tactics that failed him, it was the performance of the players in the first half.
It's like the old saying, don't change a winning team etc.
You can throw in the old horses for causes thing, but the manager did try and change things when it wasn't working.

We've looked jaded last few games. We were lucky Monday.
You cannot keep playing the same way against different opposition.
Different teams require different tactics.
NO ONE has been "Found out"
Not Rodger's, Not Can, Not Henderson, Not no one!!!
We have just had a fantastic run of games, We lose one and you all come on here and bleat like school kids.
