Why all this hate towards Sterling.
The boy is one of the top talents in Europe and has played several positions this year without complaining, often in positions and formations which do not suit him.
I like the fact he is ambitious and if the club can't match that ambition, sell him and buy better than we did with the Suarez money.
I would rather have players at my club who want to reach the top than hangers on stealing a living that are not worthy of wearing the Liver bird on their chest.
If the club qualified for CL this season as they should have with the money spent Sterling's contract would have been signed months ago.
Blame Rogers and the committee if he leaves not the kid, who will have his pick of clubs if he does move on.

I'd rather have a player at the club who wants to be there, He clearly doesn't. Since his contract negotiations stalled and hit the headlines, he has been consistently poor in a red shirt.
But people won't acknowledge this for some reason? his head is already away and has been the last couple of months.
He wants to win trophies. fair enough can't see him doing too much of that at Arsenal, but he is flattered by their interest and he is a London but don't forget.
If he thinks he's talented enough to play his favourite position for the likes of Real Madrid,Bayern Munich, Man city he's deluded.
Ibe for me is showing more maturity as a footballer than sterling ever has,
LFC need to make sure they sell while his stock is still high,
He doesn't want to be here we need to let it him go.

Elderslie in your post it says blame Rodgers. I have never seen those two words on these pages before. It gets to predictable. So is Sterling development not down to Rodgers?

Get real. Sterling don't deserve money he's demanding.
Score 20 goals a season pal, consistently and then ask for big money.
James Rodriguez, Paul Pogba, Marcos Reus, Mario Gotze have produced/ done better and not even on half money Sterling demanding
I'd let him rot in reserves. See who willing to pay £100k per week after that!!

His agents brainwashing him. Trying to manufacture massive pay deal, like SUAREZ agents done, at least SUAREZ produced game in, game out.
Sterling only done interview because agents think they can pressure LFC . If he genuinely has other Clubs willing to pay what he wants . Then why haven't they declared their interest?

The player and the manager should get the credit but IMO, most should go to the player and Sterling should get the credit for striving to get better. IMO, fans have fallen for the media circus around Sterling and have turned against him instead of letting the process play out and debate the issues thereafter. I feel for the boy.

The development of Sterling is mainly down to the boy himself in the same way that the lazy performances of Balotelli over the last few years are also his responsibility.
When I say blame Rogers and the committee I mean for the inept way Suarez was replaced, having had a year's notice he would be leaving.
If this was dealt with better and the team performed as they should I've no doubt Raheem would feel he can win trophies and play regular CL football at Liverpool, as it stands currently that's not guaranteed.
Hopefully the club can convince him better players are coming and he stays as he is going to be a star in future years.
