I understand supporting our players, but nobody cut Suarez and slack when he was being a tit so why does Sterling get away with it?
He's an adult, ok his advisors may not be helping but he's a grown up and makes his own decisions.
He has very much created his own bed and now must lie in it,
He could still have turned down a deal without coming out in the papers and showing us a massive disrespect with his comments.
Basically no sympathy, live and die by the sword Raheem.

Cut Suarez slack ? Really??

Ridiculous post comparing the trouble and embarrassment Saurez caused Liverpool to Sterling is like comparing driving after 25 pints having 4 bald tyres and no insurance to having a break light out.
Neither is right but there a million miles apart in degrees of wrong.

Maybe Rodgers should have kept his mouth shut about Sterling being offered an incredible deal and then things would not have been blown out of proportion by the media? Then Rodgers has a dig at Sterling's representatives after it being Rodgers who started started this fiasco?

Max so to you Sterling has done nothing wrong even though most people in the know and ex players have said doing the interview was disrespecting liverpool football club or i bet you think it was down to his agent for the interview and what sterling said , he is the one who said he turned down a huge pay rise , what has he done to earn such an amount at his age , i don't think the other players you have mentioned was earning over a £100 grand a week at 20 , i maybe wrong as i don't know what they were earning but they never carried on like sterling has done that's why they are class acts and sterling is not its that simple really , if the club thought he was worth more than a £100 grand i'm sure they would have offered him more than that , or should they break their wage structure and open the flood gates for other players to demand more than they are worth and put the club in financial trouble again just because of a greedy player who thinks he is better than he really is

I'm far from suggesting Suarez was due any slack Benny, far from it, but they were/are both want away and both are/have showing us a disrespect.
Also, yes I agree BR fcuked up with his comments, but essentially this whole debacle is down to Raheem, and he should be treated the same as other players who have done this as a result. If Suarez wasn't bigger than the club( and he absolutely wasn't) why are people here pandering and making excuse after excuse for Sterling?

Offering Sterling £100k a month is not going to hinder LFC. Rodgers opening his mouth about it has made the likes of Henderson having a hissy fit too.

Rodgers said Sterling was offered an incredible deal and what did Henderson do? Did he not reject a new offer too? Bravo Rodgers, Bravo.

Max is right. BR and SG are the MAIN reasons we are here. Had they just shut their gobs and deflected the questions, the media would have had nothing to feed on. Also, Ed01 has said the stalling has NOTHING to do with money so people mentioning the fact that it is related to money is false. Nobody will break the wage structure to re-sign Raheem n even he knows that so that is a false argument and to finish, ANYBODY coparing a young naive Sterling to a talnted YET complete moron like LS should automatically lose the argument for mentioning such a horrendous comparison.

Suarez was old enough to know better he also makes sterling look like a saint.

Sterling hasn't caused the club murderous trouble, not that i care for the actions of either really, and the only reason he carried out that interview was to set the record straight with all the media harrassment he was getting and speculation surrounding his situation prior. I don't care and i don't blame him one bit. Its rodgers fault as he can't keep his mouth shut either.

Again Ed002 has stated on numerous occassions that Sterlings contract issue is fundamentally not to do with money yet it is the only thing people post about.
