As good as Coutinho is, I don't back him for either PFA awards.
He has improved this season without doubt and if he continues as such then he'll probably get there.
Hasn't scored enough or assisted enough to win for me.
Kind of surprised by his nomination even though he is clever on the ball and great to watch.

He's been the best player in the prem for the last month or so, but he had a pretty poor start to the season. On the flip side Eriksson started well but has done nothing much lately. Every year there's always one player who gets in based on a good March/April. I think Kane could well win both - there's not really been an outstanding candidate this year.

Think that's a fairly accurate and balanced view guys. He's been as good as anyone at his seasons peak, but a long way from consistent enough across the whole season

Way too inconsistent to even be mentioned in the running for me.
Not even our player of the season, imo. I'd have Henderson as our best this season, at least he's been consistently very good.

Utd fan here. I think de gea has come leaps and bounds but there is only winner for pfa and that is Eden Hazard

Sanchez surely? More goals+assits than any other player and he works like a trojan.
Hazard is a cheat who relies on penalties. Matic and Ivanovic have been better than him in terms of Chelsea players.

I'm sorry but how is Hazard a cheat? You don't have to like the guy or Chelsea but no need lying mate. He hardly ever goes down or ever tries to get another player carded he is the most fouled player in Europe but also very honest as has been noted by opposite defenders.
He definitely should be in the run in and if not him De Gea or Sanchez.

@EMS, Fair enough point on Hazard diving but Ivanovic dives too. I don't think Ivanovic has been great though this season and Matic definitely has tailed off something alarming.
Chelsea's best has been Hazard alright.

I agree with EMS I think Sanchez has been class this season and been consistently good - think his signing has made a big difference to Arsenal, i'd probably give him the nod (though I would agree that no single candidate immediately jumps out at you).

Sanchez for me. He is the diff between second place and midtable for Arsenal and like suarez, made his teammates better. hazard plays with talented players, dives a lot and is always hyped up by Mou all the time. Sanchez forme, DEFO.
