To quote Brendan Rodgers "if I can get the tools here to help us we can be really successful."
I ask the question, what are the right tools!?

Answers on a post card

{Ed002's Note - Rodgers is the right tool.}

Another £220 million maybe?

He also said that the cub must ne "forceful" in the transfer market his summer. To me this suggests that in the past they weren't forceful in pursuing the targets he identified, but instead settled for second best

Good to see ed02 coming out in support of r manager when everyone else r getting pissed of.

I agree with Ed002, Rodgers is a tool!

Ask him the 110 mil he had last year was forceful enough.

I think ed002 has spent so much time on here he has picked up on the scouse humour.
Nice one ed002 you can now have my secret scouse recipe.

He was talking about Balotelli.
Balotelli was obviously not his signing.
He did say a month before we got him that he did not want him so that makes sense to me.

The bloke is an idiot! Or maybe he is always given 2nd choice players. Wouldn't surprise me.

BR is in fact, THE tool. Still spinning in the media to the point of getting dizzy and his words still don`t make sense. Typical politicia: Deflect, dodge, weave and blame others BUT quick to take credit for all and anything. By the way, he was NOT blind-sided by the Balo move. He is part of the commitee, knew about it and did NOTHING to stop it (per the Ed`s)so it is all his fault. Another pro-BR myth debunked, thanks to the Ed`s.

Redohio, I respect the Eds mate but I don't believe that everything they say about Liverpool is gospel mate, you seem too. sorry I just don't.
Most but not all.
No disrespect guys.
I know for a fact that Rodgers did not want him. an absolute fact.
Yet he ended up at Liverpool.
How can that happen if Rodgers is in control?

Real post

And why would they lie? To massage their egos like BR needs to massage his? Rubbish! If you don't believe them then that is your opinion. However, all their info have been on the money so it is either you are willfully ignoring the facts or being a contrarian which is even worse because you can't just not believe someone just for the sake of it. That is illogical and disingenuous. It is either you can prove them wrong by providing more accurate info, making a better and logical argument or rebuttal, or just let it go because making the poor excuses you make for BR which IMO, Defies the laws of logic and the facts on the ground, just make you sound like a BR apologist. Just saying!

{Ed001's Note - Fergie said he wouldn't sell Ronaldo to Madrid, then did so. Not sure how Rodgers saying he didn't want Mario is then proof he was against the signing at the time it happened? Things change. A player being hawked around at in excess of 20m is not wanted, but the same player priced lower when all other options are out is a different matted Jonny.}

Fair enough ed.
I do know for a fact that Rodgers did not want him though.
I would not come on this site if I did not respect all of the Eds opinions.I just don't always agree.

{Ed002's Note - Rodgers agreed to the transfer of Balotelli. The idea of Liverpool looking at him came from someone else within the club, but Rodgers agreed to it.}
