So Macca has spoken has spoken and has said Milner is almost a done deal. But how is that possible please Ed002 as when i asked you yestetday you said mo deal is on the table and it would be tapping up if we made advances gor him? Or is it a case of Macca having more info?

Anyway a great addition imo.

{Ed002's Note - This is hopeless if cretins like you are now trying to play me off against Macca. I have explained for months and months that there is interest. It is very hard to see why I should bother telling you anything at all - from now on it will be a great deal less.}

I think that you've gave the official position all along ed, I hope Macca hasn't said too much there.
Anyway, his was an interesting post. I hope it gives some perspective on the situation and something for all the vehemently anti - Rodgers fans to think about.
By the way, I was utterly shocked to read that it's 25 years to the day since LFC last won the title and, in that time, the club has spent over £770 million on players !
I understand your point, well have done all along, but that info brings it into stark reality.

Ed002, there are a lot of us on here that really appreciate everything that you and the the other Ed's especially Ed001 do, and say on this site. So I for one, and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this, hope that you continue to give us your insight into the machinations of the foootball world and espcially Liverpool football club, that without you and the other Ed's would still be unknown to most of us. So massive thank you from me Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - Thank you Dan but it is getting really difficult with the levels of abuse on the rise again then idiots wanting to start playing me off against Macca again.}

28 Apr 2015 09:35:35
bit harsh, seems a reasonable thing to ask?

{Ed002's Note - No it is not. I got a lot of abuse from the vegetables after someone said that Salah was a "done deal" and I made it clear it wasn't. I am not going to be played off against posters - if that is what you want then I will happily not bother at all.}

Theres nothing to think about regarding Rodgers , the guy isn't ready to manage a big club.

Macca is only saying in his opinion he would keep Rodgers until at least jan , which personally I don't see the point in giving him another summer transfer window and 5 months in the league.

Macca also said the 200mil wasn't wasted. Apart from coutinho, sturridge and can who else could you sell for more than we paid?

{Ed001's Note - how can anyone say we didn't waste money on most of the players when we were just buying the same players we already had in almost every case?}

James Milner, Liverpool's saviour ?

I think not !

I've found the eds to be a more reliable source of information from my time reading this site. The Salah incident only being one occasion that proves it but like Ed2 said, this shouldn't be about people putting one person up against another. Both macca and the eds have whatever sources and are just sharing it with you. If you're going to be a bellend about it don't bother posting because nobody is interested in your view

{Ed001's Note - I think it is only fair to point out that according to Milner himself he has made no decision on his future yet. He knows Liverpool have interest, but according to him he has not decided who he will join in the summer, he might even stay put at City, depending on who is manager next season and what they have to say to him.}

Exactly ed

Rodgers wanted bony but was quoted 20mil if I remember correctly and the board wouldn't pay it.

So instead we pay 10mil for origi and 20mil for markovic , then loan origi back to lille and ibe to derby.

Just doesn't make any sense what so ever.

Now I know the board like to buy young and sell on at a profit but if its costing us 20 - 30mil for these youngsters then it doesn't work because these kids would have to become superstars to even make a profit on them.
surely you're best to bring the kids out of the academy like sterling and potentially sell at a big profit.
Which is exactly what Rodgers isn't doing.

Anyway this is just my opinion and what do I know

Not posting on the MU page, threatening not to post on the Pool page. anyone would think you've got a holiday planned ED!

{Ed002's Note - In June I shall be away on man's last great adventure - in August I do plan a holiday.}

28 Apr 2015 10:19:12
Ed002 do not listen to the abuse or abusers, us genuine fans are happy with your knowledge and input. It's the idiots that will just twist between you and Macca. I.m guessing 99.9999999% of posters do not know a soul that works in the football industry so it's nice to be able to get some real Info instead of media made up carp.

Quite clearly the ed has to give the actual facts as is his/her job. mac can has no such responsibilities and if he hears off someone that there is interest in a player and his contact thinks it's likely macca can put his neck out and tell us this.

The eds have to worry about the future of the site so if 002 said exactly what macca said and he doesn't sign in the summer half of you people will throw a tantrum and not come back. hence why the eds can only tell you on what they are 100% certain and in this instance that is that interest exists in the player. I hope you guys can understand this.

Ahhh a June wedding, Ed? Beautiful time of year for it.

{Ed002's Note - I have had enough weddings already - I won't be having any more.}

"Man's last great adventure." You're not planning on going to ikea with the missus are you Ed002? The first time I went there it totally freaked me out! No tills, or any staff until you've navigated yourself around 5 miles of ailes, men looking at each other for help searching for fire exits or anything that would save them from the hell that they now found themselves in. While the woman remained in a state of unrivalled bliss, as cushins, followed by lamps, that led onto picture frames, that led onto tables and chairs. And then, when we finally made it to the tills men escaped in their droves, into the car park only to have their misery compounded as we searched for our cars, having forgotten where we parked them eight hours earlier. Good luck if it is ikea Ed002.

Lavaer, the Ed1 said Bony was willing to come and the money was there YET BR blocked the move as well as the Remy move so except you have more accurate info to debunk that then I`m afraid, your piece of info is inaccurate based on that Ed info. Apart from that, I agree with all you posted

Redohio

Sorry if i'm wrong I thought that was the case hence Rodgers not wanting balotelli.

28 Apr 2015 19:52:36
No biggie, boss! Just reiterating what the Ed said. I have no more info than you do.

28 Apr 2015 22:20:51
