Everyone seems to be shouting for Klopp to replace Rodgers, but why?
Klopp has only managed 2 clubs and has win rate of 49%
Rodgers has managed 4 clubs and win rate of 45%
Is this just change for changes sake or am I missing something? The last time I checked Dortmund were also having a terrible season.

I find it laughable that you have ask that question.

Klopp has had to operate on a shoestring budget whilst competing against a Bayern team who completely dominate German football to the extent where they've actually cherry picked Klopp's best players in recent years. He has seen his team repeatedly dismantled and yet he still manages to put some passion into his players.

This season Dortmund have had ridiculously bad luck with injuries and they haven't got a very large squad as finances at Dortmund don't allow it. Yet he has still taken them to a cup final and will still finish 5th judging by current form.

You are looking at the stats without considering the circumstances even remotely. Klopp is in a different league to Rodgers. Whilst Rodgers has had one good season in 3, Klopp has had one bad season in about 5. He still got to the CL knockout stages though and still looks set to pick up silverware.

What has Rodgers won aside from 45% of his matches? That's something to tell the grand kids about!

Klopp had also had he's squad cherry picked by Bayern . Goetze lewandowski and kagawa, at the time bundesliga player of year to United . Gundogan blawosakowski out for most the year . 2 bundesliga a champs league final, and a German cup is brilliant there . It's a similar league in terms of prem . And he's took them back from the dark days . Fair worse than what we are at now . To not even enquire as the Edds have said , is criminal . Try and if you fail fair enough . But ask the question

Klopp is by far the best out of the two. Both in terms of management and character.

Dortmund have had a poor year by their standards, true. But they are 1 point below 7th and 3 points off 5th, while we are 1 point above 7th. They've also won one trophy already this season and in the final to perhaps win another. Klopp's response to potentially finishing 5th with 2 trophies was to ask to be released from his contract. Rodgers response to finishing between 5th and 7th with no trophies was to proclaim we would make marquee signings in the summer and we would challenge for the title next year.

You're also ignoring that Klopp has managed first teams fit 14 years, Rodgers for 7 now (half of those at Liverpool).

What is laughable AG is listening to this constant Klopp, Klopp, Klopp.
Like the kin Grand National.

Klopp might have an admiration for Liverpool but so what ?
Arda Turan is apparently a fan, Luke Shaw is supposed to be a Chelsea fan, so what ?
It won't make a blind bit of difference as to where he ends up, which won't be at Liverpool I would wager.

EMS :)

you make me smile sometimes mate.

Bring Klopp in over Rodgers anyday

Some stats don't like though mate.

2 league titles competing against one of the best team in the world, a team that have made it to 3 of the last 6 champions league finals!

Has also won 4 cups and got to a CL final and works with a wage bill that at the start of this season was 30% lower then QPRs.

As for this season think losing his best players year on year to his rivals plus a lot of injuries probably didn't help! Saying that if he wins us two league titles and 4 cups in what 6 years I would be very content!

If we tried for turan we'd a have signed him marquee enough for me 😉 (even tho we have 6 players in his positioned)

People are just hopeful The Juicer. As for the OP, there really cannot be any relevant comparison between Klopp and Rodgers where Rodgers comes even remotely close to Klopp at pretty much every level - trophies, success, style of play, coaching, managing, building a team, having to deal with his best players being picked off etc.

30 Apr 2015 23:57:09
The OP is using worthless stats to make a disingenuous point. Klopp and BR will NEVER be in the same class and I will not explain why because explaining it alone would be a waste of my time.
