Morning all another manager question. When BR was appointed who else was in the running, would any of those still be available and be in the running? I know Martinez was and some may consider him a bullet dodged just can't remember any other names?

I know a number of managers publically ruled themselves out before they were approached including Klopp.
Guess this much talked about admiration for LFC he has was in short supply then?

Tbf Dortmund were flying at the moment in time and he had a long contract with them.

Dortmund had just won the league so why would he be interested?

He's leaving BVB - might make a difference. F De Boer probably available too if his brother is to be believed

Thanks for the input everyone appreciate your response. Why would AVP advise another club he wasn't interested in LFC ED I don't see what that would have to do with the other club given perhaps I am missing something? It has been a long day so apologies if I am being slow here.
