Who are these so called world class players that you want?
What makes you think these so called world class players would come? I want a mansion to live in, and drive a Ferrari but I can't afford it, so I have to live within my means.

Milner could be a shrewd acquisition and is a player only appreciated once in your team
Ings too could be a decent signing as long as he is no more than 3rd choice, with Origi and maybe Lambert also contending for that spot.
Priority must be on a far better leading striker and if we get that standard of striker in alongside Milner & Ings, with Sturridge hopefully firing again from October we won't be far away

We get the money most windows the manager just chooses to waste it.
Crying out for a striker last summer instead World Cup fever with origi 10mil loaned back to Lille.
20mil on markovich and loan ibe out, and I'm sure you'd agree that ibe could have done whatever markovich has done.
So 30mil spent in areas we didn't need.
What would origi be worth this summer? I bet not 10mil anyway and that's if Rodgers would still even be interested.

Like i said yesterday,bring in schar and kono for free, sell skrtel and sterling and we've improved two positions. move on borini/lambert/balotelli and bring in two strikers. Any left over cash for a fullback. Unfortunately the club won't do this and keep skrtel, sell sterling and buy benteke.

It is not just the money it is players who will come to us without CL football. Last year Sanchez didn't want to come to us even with CL. I am not sure De Maria would have come had we fought with United for him. It has to be a world class player who doesn't want to stay in his team for some reason or the team doesn't want him and that all the other CL top clubs don't want him. Not many of those.
Yes Ings and Millner this is what we can expect.

People mention about players not coming because of no CL football.
The thing is though is it that playing in it is a dream come true or is it to do with the fact you'll get a bigger wage playing on it.

I don't get the obsession with players and the champions league fair enough if they choose to go for a team with a realistic chance of winning it but half the teams either go out in the group stages or the 1st knockout round. You would think they would rather play for a bigger club with a larger fan base in the most competitive league. Perhaps that's just me being biased towards wanting players to come to liverpool.
