Morning Eds

Various papers this morning suggests Stirling wants a move to Arsenal. Is there any chance that Theo Walcott and Alex Ox-Chamberlain could come the opposite way in the deal? I know it's difficult as all players would have to agree terms etc, but it seems as though Walcott and Chamberlain want more starts next season and Liverpool could provide that! Do you know anything on both players wanting a move?

Cheers

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't try to complicate matters.}

We do not need either. Both are injury prone and inconsistent and simply do not offer anything that the club does not already have. LFC should simply use the funds for a striker or two and a GK before committing funds to other positions.

I hope we're not interested in Sterling because the best way to gage how someone is likely to treat you is by the way they've treated people in the past, he's all Raheem as Suarez was all about Louie.
Both very good players but both ultimately selfish through and through and more hassle than their worth in my opinion.
Youre very welcome to Theo I'd love to get 15 million for him but would take 10mil but the Ox ? No way Gonzalez he's a brilliant lad with a brilliant future and nothing but a credit to our club and his profession, £100 million and Sturridge and you can have first option on the Ox should we ever go insane and let him go :-)

Can't imagine one reason why we would want Walcott. He's got serious injury issues and has barely played a quarter of Arsenals games over the last 2 years. As for Oxlade, you do realise who his agent is don't you? Personally I think we should just try to get as much as we can for Sterling and move on.

Gunner who out of our squad would you say would get in the arsenal team?

24 May 2015 09:30:55
Coutinho Sterling Henderson and Sturridge would all be part of the 18 on the day there's little doubt about that.
Personally I'd take Sturridge if I could add only one player to our squad from yours, yeah I know about the injuries but I think a football free summer will do a lot of players good mentally and physically who were at the world cup last year

Not a bad assessment gunner though I would also say Lucas is better than anyone you have in that role and I would have sakho in before mertersacker.

Love Lucas, but think coquelin is improving no end. And Sturridge over coutinho, really? Thanks gunner for your input over the years though, well balanced input.

Cheers Burkey mate, I've always been admirer of Liverpool for lots of reasons, Shankly I loved to bits (still do) the brilliant way the club went quitly about its business of being the absolute best for years with fantastic dignity and humbleness.
Jimmy case getting the ball wedged between the railings in a European game under the lights and most of all the reception and respect we got when we beat you 2 0 to nick the league that night lives long in the memory, very few fans would be capable of that.

Being a Southerner all my mates are Arsenal fans, classy club. Only fans I think that haven't sung the Stevie G sing this season to my knowledge too!
