Some papers reporting a possible cash plus demo deal with city for sterling. Who would want Dzeko? I've never been overly impressed with his general play but he does score goals and has done at all levels, wouldn't be a bad bit of business I feel ( if the cash part was right)

Demo is meant to say Dzeko, stupid auto correct.

Id take bony and 10 mil

24 May 2015 11:15:22
I'd take Jovetic and £25 million

24 May 2015 11:22:39
Bony + 10m yes please. Dzeko no way.

24 May 2015 11:26:39
Not a bad call 5ive but can't seem them releasing him. I assume only Dzeko and jovetic they would want rid of.

£40m + Jovetic ;)

Bony and ten million?

No chance, he's worth more in today's market and the club will get more.

We're enticing a bidding war on this one and clubs will pay it too.

24 May 2015 12:01:07
If QPR receive a percentage, we need to play hard-ball on this one.

24 May 2015 12:18:40
It should be more like either bony or jovetic plus 30mil

If we get anywhere near 50mil for sterling it's a cracking piece of business.

If he wasn't English you'd be talking 20mil for him.

I feel sorry for sterling to be honest because his agent could quiet easily de rail his career.

I can easily see sterling just warning the bench somewhere just like Sinclair abd wright Phillips to name a few

24 May 2015 12:23:45
Bony just signed on for 30 mil. Jovetic is like Sturridge. always injured. Strrling isn't even worth 20 mil imo so hence bony and 10 mil . Would be a super deal . If they want him tell them that's the deal.

24 May 2015 12:26:37
If we got jovetic and 30 mil would be a fantastic deal for us. And wouldn't look quite as bad as just selling our best players

24 May 2015 12:39:30
I'd be vey happy with Dzeko other than his age maybe. But as a striker he is one of the most underrated players in the PL in my view. Scoring 14 goals or more for three consecutive season as a substitute, an amazing record.

24 May 2015 13:30:55
5ive, if this sell on clause is true, then really, it's a straight swap for Bony.

Not having that.

{Ed002's Note - That's a stroke of luck - because it is not an option.}

24 May 2015 13:33:42
Jovetic is not injury prone. If you are not playing regularly it makes you more at risk of injury when you do play. Pellegrini just doesn't fancy him, but he's competing against Silva and Aguero so it makes sense.
I think he'd be a cracking signing and a player exchange is beneficial for us because QPR get 25% of the fee. So 25% of 25 million is only 6.25 million.

{Ed002's Note - Jovetic has not settled in England and has extensive injury problems over the past two years.}

24 May 2015 13:46:00
Hey ed002, all this talk of a swap deal, I've been informed that QPR get 20% of the fee.

If Liverpool, hypothetically were to get jovetic and 25million pounds, would QPR get 5 million or more? Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - No, they would get whatever percentage is due for the assessed value of the entire transfer.}

The thing that is forgotten here is that Sterling is at an age where a good manager is still able to mould him into a potentially top player. He has the physical attributes, just like say Cuadrado, who in my opinion is a much better payer. However, I fear Sterling's head will get in the way. He's not nearly intelligent enough either on or off the pitch. He doesn't exactly seem to be very bright.

24 May 2015 14:13:30
I'd still hold out for Jovetic, he's a class act and would fit our style of play better than Bony or Dzeko.
With the extra cash I'd try for Keita Balde Diao.
Sell Mario, sell Borini, get a decent right back.

That would be my summer business for LFC.

Bony and Jovetic + 10mio for Sterling.
