Eds,

What are the obstacles in the way of getting Klopp to manage Liverpool.

Would it be budget, the strength of others in the league or are we simply now seen outside of Liverpool as a club that used to be big but now too big a ship to turn round to get back on track?

Thanks to you all for your constant feedback as it must require an enormous amount of time and patience but it is HUGELY appreciated as I know the info given is spot on and not Twitter rubbish.

{Ed001's Note - structure of the club, budgetary constraints, expectations of the fans, basically everything about the club is seen as a shambles. While he is not looking for a ready made top side to take over, he wants somewhere that he can have a realistic chance of success for the long term.}

Agree0 Disagree1

So in your opinion it will be pointless the fans hoping for him and we should lower our expectations?

{Ed001's Note - I would not expect him, we never get anyone I want in to the club, so it is not going to happen, sadly.}

Ed1, Is Bielsa a realistic candidate to manage us next season?

{Ed001's Note - no, he doesn't speak English. The owners were quite explicit in their desire to have an English speaker last time.}

Structure of the club? Well surely this was part of the review for the past 8 months which the owners should now be in a position to put right

{Ed001's Note - I have seen little sign of any action though personally, which is worrying.}

Wouldnt this put lots of managers off then ed? In alladyce we trust then haha

{Ed001's Note - it would very much put lots off. They don't mind taking over a club that is in a down period, but not when it is almost impossible to turn it round.}

That's very worrying Ed, surely that would just point to another year of transition. :/

{Ed001's Note - not if FSG are decisive in the summer.}

24 May 2015 21:06:56
Surely a manager like Klopp who took over at Dortmund in a far worse state would relish the opportunity of bringing the first lge title back to England's and one of Europe's greatest clubs?

We are currently the world's 9th richest club at a time when our performance on the field is bang average.

The potential here is incredible with the correct management and conditions to work in which surely FSG , if they are as savvy as we are always told they are, would provide

{Ed001's Note - I hope you are right.}

Interesting, hopefully if FSG act they can pitch themselves like Rodgers did himself three years ago to bag a Klopp or an Ancelotti. One can dream.

BY the way thanks Ed01 for your opinions and clear passion. I wonder did you laugh at todays performance? I love the team but once it hit 3-0 i have to be honest in saying the part of me that now does think Rodgers should be moved aside found myself thinking this is okay, let it be 5-0 as hopefully would wake the necessary people up into taking action.
In saying that i didn't actually think they would score 5 against us. nevermind 6!!!! I have never seen anything like that for a long time!

{Ed001's Note - no, I was too gutted.}

I wasn't, tbh. Sometimes. Some people as in BR and his acolytes need to hit rock bottom in order for reality to set in. During the game and after each goal, I chuckled in irony, to myself because reality had just set in for BR as in, his pride had comets before his fall and karma had just come to bite him severely. He was mouthing off about how Spurs messed up and how LVG would struggle in the PL. Come end of the season, who's laughing now? he has been an embarassment and failure to this club and it's fans so I wasn't too fussed about everything else bar the result which made me sick. Sometimes, some people have to touch fire in order to realize it burns. But there is hope for the future because we have a more than decent bunch who can compete with anyone on its day. All we need is the right manager, the right arrivals and departures and a strong and modern structure and foundation for us to build from into the future. We will be fine and most of all, YNWA!! Red Till I'm Dead!
