What's everyone's thoughts on Bolasie? I think he'd be a great option to have on the bench. He's got pace, power, strength, skill, and would give us a different option when we need to change things up during the game.

Another £20 million benchwarmer. He is so inconsistent, and I would imagine that this aspect wouldn´t improve if he´s a squad player.

He's great! Street footballer on grass. Always looking to beat a man and make a cross. Has some off days though.

A great squad player which can make an impact. Reminds me of asprilla except bolasie plays more on the wing.

The only consistency I see is consistently poor shooting and finishing. He is a cracking player on his day but he is nowhere near any level where he would improve us - if he was consistent then yes I would agree he would be a good signing.
He's quick, he's skillful, he's powerful but he's also fairly rubbish more often than he is brilliant. I would suspect he is good on FIFA as his stats/abilities would be high but I wouldn't want him.

Stats on FIFA? Don't patronise me Sean! Who from our current crop made any sort of impact coming from the bench this season? Please enlighten me. We need a very good starting XI yes, but we need a strong bench also.

@RedRum, the stats on FIFA comment is valid. It wasn't directed at you so just a misunderstanding there. I do think he would probably have good stats on FIFA.
Anyway in terms of your impact from the bench question - how about pushing players who haven't performed all that well onto the bench due to signing someone better? E.g. I expect Lallana to improve but if we sign someone better then he'll either be on the bench himself or else if starting then he'd have to be playing at his best. Signing someone who doesn't put a player like Lallana under pressure isn't going to take us forward.

I knew the Bolasie to LFC comments would come. I played with players like him who yes, play street ball on grass and kind of wing things as they go on. I`ve watch him play and only in England would a guy so technically defecient can make a decent career due to pace and some power. I would not even sign him for 5m.
