HI Qustion for Ed01
Do you believe that now is probably the best opportunity in years for Liverpool to go and get a one of the best managers in football. With Ancelotti and Klopp both between jobs it seems a no brainer to try everything to entise one of the two. Ancelotti i believe would be perfect for Liverpool, his coaching and tactical awareness is top class, and who better to galvanise the club and help bring through the younsters. Whereas Klopp fits the Liverpool way better than anyone around, his passion, his closeness to the supporters and his passion could take Liverpool to another level. It may be wishful thinking but when an opportunity like this arises i Believe the owners have to sieze it with both hands. Come on FSG move quickly and do the right thing and get it done early.

{Ed001's Note - Ancelotti is not available, he will be recuperating for a few months, at least, before he will be ready to take on a new role. So rule him out this summer.
As for Klopp, yes, I truly believe FSG should be on their knees begging him to take charge if need be. He is the closest thing I have seen to Shanks in my lifetime.}

Ed1, with German press reporting that Klopp would be interested in the job I don't see how FSG can't at least talk to him after the German Cup Final this weekend.
I know you shouldn't believe everything you read in a paper but Klopp is known to be particularly friendly with the press and Bild reported he'd be resigning as Dortmund coach before anyone else so obviously know him well enough.
Feels like a 'come and get me' plea through my rose-tinted glasses, but there's no way they can ignore it, surely?
{Ed001's Note - I know some people that are friendly with Klopp, they all say he is open to an offer from Liverpool. I wasn't sure at first if they were messing with me, but I would still try if it was up to me. You have to go at least ask the question.}

If they do sack him, which seems most likely, ed1, he is the outstanding candidate whichever way you look at it. I'm going to keep my hopes up.

Charisma comes from human integrity, high character, leadership, trustworthiness and respect for your fellowman. Things BR knows NOTHING about. Klopp is our man so fsg, GET TO WORK!

Sorry but what qualifies you to question Brendan's human integrity? You are literally bordering on abuse of a man who is still the manager. He may not be good enough as a manager. But this is getting childish. Everyone wants klopp, even me but that is no reason to vilify a man. He is after all human.

I did not vilify him. I spoke of what he is. He has shown himself to be a liar, lacks integrity, talks with both sides of his mouth and takes responsibility for nothing. Those are facts supported by evidence because even the players and staff have turned on him and the many of the fans want him gone as a results. Even the owners don't trust him with money. What does that tell you? Someone like that cannot be relied upon because he will always duck the issues and never make the hard decisions and will do anything to get his way. It is not a crime to call a an untrustworthy person, untrustworthy because there is evidence of that. Don't really care for him really because his issues as an individual are way deeper than his issues as a coach. It's not my fault you can't handle the truth about BR as a man.

You don't even know the guy personally. You were his biggest fan a few months ago. You started changing your tone dramatically when you had a conversation with one of the eds. The way you speak about him now is as if he is a criminal, a crappy human etc. Nobody deserves the abuse he gets. As for me not handling the truth, I've never been his biggest fan. He definitely has potential, but I do believe he needs to go.
