Reading Benteke is all but agreed, not my first choice as i don't think he suits our style of play, anything on it eds?

I dint know wether to cry, punch something or be happy.
I close my eyes and picture benteke battering the cb's, holding the ball up for the 3 amigos ibe, fir, cou.
But then I remember I have seen him play numerous amounts of time. Its more of a picture you build up of what said player is like when in reality there nothing like what you think, he can't play in a team that passes around because he doesn't have the drive to make runs etc (also makes coutnho pretty pointless to have in the team)
If we get him we have to go direct play, and Brendan will just not do that, he will maintain what he did with lambert & ballo up front.

If we sign him let's get behind him, you never know how he will adapt, I've seen good players over the years not being able to settle into our team so let's give the lad a chance at least he should get into double figures and who knows what else .

It will/may all end in tears. I guess we will have to wait and find out how it pans out. We will probably pay villa £42m for him to rub salt into the wounds.

Supporting him and the team is and will never be the issue. Support and faith don`t win games. players and tactics do and that is where the issue lies. Except Benteke can do a complete 180 degree shift and suddenly be the player that can flourish in the high press, quick pass and move system we hav, i don`t see how he will fit in except the system is changed to suit him which won`t happen. He has the ability to be better than he actually is but I just don`t see that happening in our system i would be happy to be proven wrong tho
