If we were going to learn we would have after Andy Carroll. Rodgers didn't see how a target man type player could fit into his system yet now we're going to break the bank to sign a target man that offers very little movement in or around the box and is going to hamper the assists of coutinho, firmino and Henderson.

He's a really good player, not sure he's suited to us (playing style) but a few tweaks to that and he could be a star for us.

Benteke is class! I don't actually get what people are moaning about. He is 24, a Belgium international, and he destroys us everytime we play Villa. You lot will never be happy. It might be a bit over priced but other than that we have a beast and I know he will prove you all wrong.

@simo - our defence is rancid, a lot of players "destroyed us" last season. I wouldn't base an attackers quality on their performances against out defence which is, according to the man in charge, uncoachable.
