Ibe is similar to Depay without set piece ability.Had Ibe come from different league he would have got similar hype.Coutinho can be our answer to Hazard but Hazard has higher consistency levels and fulfills his ability each time he plays.Also we have Can and Markovic.Brendan Rodgers should help these younsters to fulfill their potential.

Depay scored a whooping 25 goals in the league last season and don't be delude comparing Ibe to depay. Depay is as good as Hazzard.
Taking set piece is not as simple as drinking tea. It's a skill which you need to master it and only top class players at the clubs go for it.
How many apart from Gerrard and Suarez has put the ball back into the net from free kicks?

If you discount the no of penalties from total goals scored by Hazzard you would be surprised to the see the figure.

Depay scored 22 goals last year. Ibe scored 0. Hazard sored 14 league goals, Couts 5 and I think the ratio of assists is similar. Chelsea is just about to release Oscar - a player with the same style as Couts andwho scored and provided more assists than him last year despite being a substitute in most games. Markovich wouldn't make the bench of any of the other top 4. BR will help them fulfill their potential? when is the last time he did this with a player?
The amount of wishful thinking and self deciept of fans in this site is unbelievable. I understand fans need some reasons to have a hope before the season starts so I will try in the future not to ruin this celebration of unbased optimism but sometimes I just cannot resist responding. Depay scored as many as Lacazzate playing out wide and only Grizemann would have a better stats on that position.

Oscar and Couts are different players.Hazard is very important for Chelsea by making the key passes in final third,also his finishing is good,Coutinho plays similar role for us by finding the key passes but his finishing needs to improve.I didn't mention Couts as like to like replacement for Hazard,but the way he was instrumental in winning games for his team so regularly in a similar way couts can do it.
Stats are always a decent indication of players ability but they r not the only indicators.Going by stats Harry Kane shouldn't have scored 30 goals in a season.I agree Depay is more proven but what we have seen of Ibe is it not possible for him to achieve his potential and score many goals for us?

Pretty sure ibe scored while on loan and provided assists and mom performances to boot. Absolutely not comparing him to depay but his talent and ability cannot be dismissed so easily. Not to mention the assists he provided when he came back from his loan. Only cup ties and injury prevented him from contributing more.
He will be as good and potentially better than depay with consistent game time. I agree that hazzard is a class apart, firmino is closer to his quality but needs consistency.

Your all missing the fact that Depay will be in the premier league this season. Totally different from any other league in the world. He will never score 20 plus goals in his standard wide position!!

Depay is a very good player, but psv walked the league. Hazard is better despite the stats. I think % of the teams goals and assists is a better indicator, especially considering how few liverpool scored comparing to chelsea and psv, in that sense coutinho is as important to us as hazard although not at that level yet

Although I'm not doubting his ability, people have to remember Depay did it in a league where Kezman and Afonso Alves held goal scoring records. They showed that repeating that in the premier league isn't as easy as RVN made it look.

Your calling Depay average based on what? can't be performances or stats as they are brilliant. Plus legends of the Dutch national side have said he has the world at his feet. He may struggle he may not. Only time will tell. But for you to call him average is laughable. Hazard played in the French league which doesn't come close to premiership and look how he's turned out. One thing depay does have is strength and power which will stand him in good stead for the oremiership

Which is severely flawed, Ron because you have no idea if Depay will be good or bad and your judgement ain't worth much because you are the one who kept rooting for BR to stay yet you also kept saying you wouldn't have a prob with him getting sacked. Make up your mind, bro!
