Would love us in a simple 3-5-2 setup, with old fashioned speedy wingers, that can defend and attack.
2 Centre backs (take your pick), supported by a Libero in defence. This has to be somebody with experience to organise a defence, but just maybe it would be good to see Illori develop in such a role.
A defensive ball controlling midfielder in Rossiter(even Allen would flourish in such a role), with the 2 wingers in maybe Clyne and Moreno. and two forward thinking defensive hard working midfielders (Henderson/ Lalana ?/ Milner/ Firminho ?/ Coutinho or ?
2 man up front. As an old timer in the LFC fan base, I do have a pendant for the big & small set up, and would love to see Coutinho up there with Benteke (if he is not used in midfield) or a player like Ibe with a fit Sturridge. Plenty of offensive options :-)

3-5-2 relies on wing backs to work effectively as opposed to straightforward wingers.

We don't have 2 good centre backs never mind three. Plus clyne and Gomez don't deserve to be dropped, although Gomez could be one of the three. We just need a good back four, not try and change every week. Plus even if clyne and moreno are wing backs, our best players are attacking, in the sense of hendo Coutinho firmino benteke and sturridge and they won't all for in that system

3-5-2 will not happen. You are simply taking out one attacker from the game and adding another defender.
Moreover BR has 5 CM and 3 ACM with them, All big money players and assured positions and game time.
How would you accommodate them?
