All our top rivals have world class goalies - even Spurs. These guys can win up to 15 points a season for their clubs. Could be the difference between finishing 1st and 5th. Southampton and Everton arguably have stronger goalies. Migs is a risk. If he loses confidence again we're screwed. Can't remember when we last had a top quality keeper between the sticks? So surprised FSG haven't addressed this area.

Couldn't agree more with the OP. It's a massive massive issue. Being 4th or 5th can come down to a single point and our man's wobbles cost us points every year. So the potential return on a quality keeper is massive.

Reina was great especially in the defensive system Rafa played. His last two years were riddled with howlers and poor performances.

Did Pepe R not win the golden glove consecutively, he was world class, the only reason he didn't play for spain was Iker was his competiton, any other team he would have walked into internationally!
