Hey eds, sorry for disturbing u on the busiest night of the year.
Quick question if Ye are not too busy.
Looking at a lot of lfc transfers over the years I can't but wonder why were they firstly proposed and secondly sanctioned!!
Players such as Sean Dundee, djimi traore Bjorne tore kavarme, yesil, borini, jovatic, konchesky and many more (excuse the spelling), were they ever actually expected to make the grade??
I get the impression from Rogers first few signings they were made solely just for the purpose of spending money and to be seen seen to be spending money.
It's just bewildering that someone actually sanctioned these signings and spent serious cash on them!
{Ed001's Note - nobody buys a player purely to be seen to be spending.}

Hmm Ed 1, I have a suspicion yhat City have done so in the past by signing British players to adhere to FFP regulations.
But that's City of course.
{Ed002's Note - FFP has nothing whatsoever to say about "British" players or players of any nationality.}

Ed01, I think Utd just did that with the martial signing. It is just baffling
