Brendan Rodgers pays a visit to the Man City training ground to see just how Manuel Pellgerini get's the best out of his players. Manuel is happy to help: "brendan watch this".
Manuel snaps his fingers: "Sergio, Sergio get over here. Sergio, he is not your brother but he is still your father's son, who is he"
Immediately Sergio answers "it's me" and returns to his training
"You see Brendan, I give the players little riddles and it keeps them mentally sharp"
So the next day Brendan decides to try it out and he calls over Martin Skrtel "Martin, he is not your brother but he is still your father's son, who is he"
Skrtel looks even more confused than usual and says "Boss I just don't know, can I have some more time"
So Brendan agrees that Skrtel can have until the next day to work it out.
Skrtel thinks deep into the night but cannot figure out the answer, so he decides to call Steven Gerrard to see if he knows.
"Steven I am really stuck with this riddle, he is not your brother but he is still your father's son, who is he"
Gerrard replies "that's easy Martin, it's me"
The next day Skrtel approaches Rodgers with a beaming smile, "I know the answer boss"
"okay then, what is it"
Skrtel answers "It's Steven Gerrard"
Brendan says "No you idiot! It's Sergio Aguero!"

Blimey, my dad told me that one over 20 years ago, except the protagonists were john Major, Norman Lamont, George Bush (Snr) and Henry Kissenger!!!!!!
