Morning everyone!

Purely hypothetical question for you guys/gals!

With Klopp rumours still hitting the headlines (but unlikely he will become Liverpool manager) just wondering who would be your first choice replacement for Todgers out of Ancelotti and Klopp?

Myself would go for Ancelotti based on the fact he has managed in England and won a PL/Cup double not to mention his numerous other accolades. Vastly experienced!

With regards to Klopp I fear he could just be another Villas Boas who did exceptionally well in Portugal just to come to the PL and fall short of the mark. Maybe I am wrong as the Bundesliga is a better standard.

Be great to hear some feedback off everyone!

Head says Carlo,
Heart says Klopp.
Either would do well with us though, both would attract better players to our club and keep them here longer and get more out of them than Rodgers.

Ancelloti

Ancelloti for me

Are there any other managers of similar quality that maybe available or want to manage Liverpool?

Rodgers will drive us into the ground.

I would of thought there are some just as good but maybe not available.

The two names mentioned most are Klopp and Ancelotti mind.

Klopp for me. I think we need his Charisma, passion and excitement. Anchelotti is a better fit to a side who is a bit more settled. We need a proper revolutionised approach and a bit of magic.

Klopp!!! Dortmund was in the very same similar sorry state on the park to us . He used players that was there and brought the best out of them . Carlo had always had the cookies in the cookie jar to eat . Klopp deals with the crumbs

Well were not getting either so no point discussing it.

Yeah I have to agree with Mikey too.

All those words could have been applied to rodgers when he arrived, fanobip.

What we need now is experience, proven winners and no nonsense. Klopp is a great manager but he would only be talking the same game as brendan did when he arrived.

I think LFC could do with someone who has won things in the past and knows how to win in the PL. Ancelotti has experience in the PL and I will lean towards him over Klopp. Klopp's teams play more expansive attacking football though.

Klopp HAS won things on a much smaller budget than BR so saying he would bve the same as BR makes no sense. i would tae either of them BUT Ancelloti has the advantage because he`s won more in different leagues and has coached in England before as someone already said. CA for me if I had to pick but wouldn`t mind Klopp

Neither. Emery (probs unrealistic now), De Boer or Farve

Macca's post whether it turns out to be right or wrong, certainly suggests that the storm clouds are gathering over BR's tenure.

I recently sent an e-mail to FSG pointing out not only my disillusionment with the current situation but also suggesting that they take a look at this website and see just how much the vast majority of Liverpool fanbase on this site are similarly concerned. It would be nice to think that someone did and that what they read made a huge impact.

There have been comments frequently posted on here that without Champions League football it will be difficult to attract top players.
Even without Champions League football, surely there would be a lure when a team is in the EUFA league cup. There are after all decent teams in that competition and now with entry into the Champions' league for the winners that surely is also an attraction.
How would the knowledge, despite a team being in that competition, that their top players are not even guaranteed playing in those matches, affect a player's decision to join a club?
Shouldn't youth be blooded in the likes of the League cup and early rounds of the F A cup rather than in a competition in which the winners gain automatic entry to the Champions' league?

Rodgers has said that he has never lost a derby match but fails to mention that he has only won one. Everton's recent form suggests that they will go into the derby as favourites. He was appointed Liverpool manager after Swansea's fast flowing football style which carried them into the premiership. My understanding is that he took the credit of a team created by Roberto Martinez so this sunday should be very interesting.

Hopefully Macca's source is correct. Whilst we are still within a few points of those 4 Champions' league places we need to fix this asap. It won't be long before we will need to be fighting for a place in the top three and that on current form is a pipe-dream.
