There's a lot of people saying our squad isn't good enough and if klopp comes in he's got a lot of rebuilding to do.
Is it just me then who thinks we've got a good squad that under the right management should have no reason not to challenge for top 4 and good cup runs?
There are positions that need looking at yes, mostly we need a strong confident keeper, but in general with the squad we have surely we have enough to push for top four.
Seems al lot of people on here and pundits would replace most of our team.

A keeper and a strong organiser at the back. Possibly a top defensive midfielder and we're done. When you look at the squad it's amazing we've been so bad!

yep I said the same thing a few days ago. People were, for all the right reasons saying not to expect top four under new manager and maybe we won't get it but our squad is good enough, certainly big enough and we will soon have a top manager

Lifelongred I agree if we can get a new keeper sort the defence out, personally would player Sakho and Gomez/Llori and get a good defensive midfielder Medel or Lars Bender then I think we are on our way. We actually have good players that just need to perform and be played in their natural positions. Also if Sturridge stays fit in the high press system should get a few goals this season.

We are 3 points off 4th place after playing at Old Trafford and the Emirates.
Our play has been poor but results wise we are already challenging for top 4.
It's not a big ask to get us in the top 4 IMO.

Completely agree lads. for strength in depth I think it's the best position we've been in years. also should be the guts of 20 games before the transfer window so plenty of time for players to make a stake and hopefully at this point klopp should have a clear idea of what is needed/what he wants so I think there's a lot of positives!
White Hart lane could be perfect first match also as we've seen them struggle against a high press and it could also be a open game and with our recent good form there I'm quietly thinking a win!
