Great news with the klopp confirmation, finally a managerial appointment that give or take a few, will excite all Liverpool fans, haven't had one since Rafa, much as I wanted KK and was disgusted when he was relieved off his duties, he wasn't universally wanted the way klopp appears to be.
Klopp will be given time and patience by all supporters, he can use the rest of this season to implement his playing style in readiness for next season, were we will really kick on. Exciting times aheadðŸ˜.

You've hit the nail on its head and no doubt, I think the fans deserve this as now when performances go awry at least we'll know the players need to up their game as blaming the manager won't work as he's in my opinion one of the best out there. Not bashing anyone directly but some of the players just ain't good enough.

So happy it's unreal, I don't think I have ever been this excited about a manager joining us.
Under Rodgers we had nothing to look forward to, we was going nowhere. it's about time we had a good manager in, it's giving me new hope. I think he will be brilliant.
Can't wait to see him signing up.

I agree entirely. A manager at last to get the juices flowing. I wouldn't completly rule out something happening this season tho. Its early enough yet. You never know, maybe a good couple of cup runs. A new manager sholud always bring added enthusiasm to the players to get that extra 10%. Exciting times indeed.

I didn't think this question was worth its own thread, so if you don't mind me hijacking and asking Ed002 what the Dortmund supporters think of this move? I'd assume they're glad that Bayern haven't got their hands on him?
{Ed002's Note - I am sure that the Dortmund supporters will be supportive and wish him well, unless the clubs meet of course. If he were to start picking away at a couple of players, which potentially he could do, then they will not be so pleased. I have a colleague who is, like Klipperty, a Mainz fan. I will ask him.}

Waro is spot on. I haven`t been this excited about a coaching appointment at LFC in years. Klopp is just a brilliant manager and even a better human being based on what i`ve read about him. he hates losing and always wants to win. you don`t win titles and humiliate giants like Bayern, Real and Arsenal with a shoe string budget if you are clueless or out of your depth as a manager.
The man can coach football and has the track record to prove it. At last after three managers, FSG has given us a manager who has a winning mentality, knows what it takes to win against the odds and who knows what he is doing.
