Hi,
I know we are all feeling giddy as a kipper. or., a klipper.
It's great news that we have managed to get Klopp in, but let's not get carried away with ourselves.
Of course, he could hit the ground running and power us up the league table, but it could realistically go the other way.
He will inherit a good squad with no identity and backbone.
Here's to our next adventure as lfc fans.

Gee you're a optimist. I'll stick my neck out and say with the squad we have we'll make top 4 with klopp. Finally a manager who will let the players express them selves and who can organise the team. Still need to drop migs.

If you mean backbone as in the middle of the team do we have it? Mignolet sakho Henderson coutinho benteke? Mignolet no, sakho hendo and benteke good, coutinho yes. But is it hart Kompany toure silva aguero good? No chance. All of them would Replace the ones I said maybe except hendo for toure because of age. I'd say we're equal to united with de gea smalling schwein mata Rooney, bar de gea, behind Arsenal with cech koscielny cazorla ozil Sanchez (if played centrally) and Chelsea courtois terry matic fabregas Costa and maybe level with Spurs' lloris vertonghen dier eriksen kane. All teams piss on mignolet, and strikers wise they're all good and have different qualities, Rooney the weakest for me. I feel ours is least established though, as sakho hasn't played much, hendo is injured, benteke is new and mignolet is poor, we need this to improve for me

It's a squad full of international players, or rising talents. We have cover in every position. Proven goal scorers. We already have a team that has been guided towards pressing like Klopp prefers. We already have hard working high engine players.
Our GK is a bit suspect although he has pulled off many class point saving saves. Will he improve? Maybe.
Otherwise it's good enough

the squad is easily good enough. We have some weak links for sure but a huge midfield full of some good players and 2-3 good strikers when fit, plus some good youth players. The problem for me is our goalkeeper who I do not think is good enough and I wish illori was free to play in centre with Sakho

Our squad has always been good enuff. It may need some tweaking but defo good enuff in today`s PL. The main drawback has been removed from our club and hopefully, the players can flourish instead of being put as squre pegs in round holes just to satisfy the ego and fantasies of a manager
