Just rushed home from work and watched the much talked about Jurgen Klopp press-conference.
I couldn't be more impressed.
The man exudes charisma and humility at the same time and clearly loves football with a passion which can't fail to be infectious.
I stumbled upon a comparison of Klopp's opening interview with that of Brendan Rodgers and the difference is immense. When BR took over we swallowed his self-absorbed b*&£hit and contrived responses because we were, to be honest, desperate. He was even arrogant enough to insist on assurances that he was our no.1 choice and that it was almost an honour for Liverpool to be permitted the opportunity to sign this young managerial genius.
Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, is clearly a man secure enough not to have to prove himself, thinks that an illustrious history is like carrying a back-pack and wants a fresh start for LFC and not Jurgen Klopp.
I'm starting to really regret giving up my season-ticket because I truly believe that we are in for some special times. Increased capacity, a massive step-up in management and coaching, exciting football and a winning philosophy.
I believe that Jurgen will squeeze every drop out of his inherited squad and Sakho, Firminho, Llori, Can and Benteke will all benefit from the change in style.
Jurgen Klopp is like opening a window in a stagnant bedroom and is already enthusing me beyond belief.
Where can I get a Germany flag from?

I felt the exact same way, Pete. The man oozes humility, dignity and honour. As for BR, the less said the better

Don't know where Benteke fits into the style of play. He's not good enough to replace Sturridge

Klopp tried to sign Benteke at Dortmund when Lowendowski left. So he rates him. He also tried to sign Fermino.

Ron debunked, again.

So where do you play Sturridge?
He won't play out wide.

10 Oct 2015 12:29:23
He will play where he is told to play, Ron. That's football. Klopp is not his friend and shouldn't have to bow down to players demand, Ron. Get it? Good!

Ron is right. Klopp looked into signing Benteke but they never pushed for him because they had concerns over his pressing. Having said that, this is a new start and all of the players will get an opportunity to show to Klipperty that they belong.
