I think Klopp should be looking to sell Sturridge when they can still get a high fee for him.

Yes he is a great player but he is out of the team more often then he is in it and the money from him could help improve the team overall.

I'm going to rule out Chelsea and Man City for obvious reasons and man unt and Everton for even more obvious reasons, there were be very few takers in the upper echelons of the league and with his injury past we'd be lucky to break 10mil. For me he's our best striker and we should get him back to full fitness and see how he goes.

you have to be joking?
Sturridge has been injured recently lots of course but he is one of the best players we have for sure, and possibly the most effective

call me naive but i was under the impression that this operation he had done in america was supposed to make him less susceptible to the types of niggling injuries he was consistently acquiring

Since Daniel Sturridge joined LFC in January 2013, we have played 133 competitive games in all competitions and Sturridge has appeared only in 68 of them, which is about 51% of the games. There maybe a few games where he was rested but not too many.

Any manager would want to keep Sturridge, even IF he only plays half the games.

He's a proven match winner.

It makes sense that Coutinho will go.

I would rather have studge 51% of the time than 0% of the time.

Sturridge has had a few injuries yes, but he's still got what he had before. We just need to be careful with him, make sure he's not put into positions where his body may break down and if that means playing him every other game instead of every game, then so be it.

He's a class act is Sturridge, a very humble guy off the field too from what I remember anyway.

He needs to learn to put his foot down with England and do what is best for himself, not what Hodgson and his crew try to inflict on him. He needs to see his career in the long term and take care of himself accordingly. And Klopp should be backing him up on this. Otherwise England will likely break him again.

Watching our games without Sturridge is painful. We are useless at taking our chances.
Sturridge is easily the best striker at the club, no question.
Goal scorers are rare. Selling Sturridge would be a very stupid decision unless you are going to swap him for Suarez.

JK has said he will keep any players he wants to have in the team so its not about money to him, its about Football and studge is our best goal scorer really, i do like Benteke, but studge has been there when not injured. It's exciting to think how he will be played under Klopp.

Sturridge is still by far our most dangerous striker, his runs, pace and finishing are able to unlock almost any team, not something the others can claim yet.

In addition, while we have a very very good squad, we are desperately short of elite PL talent that makes the competition genuinely scared (who's our Gerard, Torres, Suarez etc. ) and I put only Sturridge and Coutinho (only just!) in that camp at the moment who can make something out of nothing.
