Amidst all the delirium over Klopp arriving, my daughter injured her knee for the second time in a year. After recovering from acl reconstruction and getting back playing it looks like she may have done it again. I'm gutted for her and at 17 it shows how cruel football can be at times. She was on the brink of a move to a women's super league team which has now been shelved. I think this last week could not have been a more stark example of the highs and lows of football. I wondered how yesil was doing as I imagine his situation is the closest to my daughters.

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - He has gotten a few games in Switzerland. I hope you daughter soon fully recovers.}

Well that sucks. Hearing about all these injuries young players get makes me realise how much for granted I take my injury-free playing days. I've never once suffered a long-term injury in football. apart from a broken wrist, but that's a weird story. Hope she recovers soon!

Blew out my tendon in my left knee four years ago and it still hurts so I know how your daughter feels. She's still young and should make a full recovery. I'm praying for her.

Oh nothing serious man, but it's still easy to get injured when playing park football.

Tore my ACL at the age of 14, ended any hopes i had of playing because they wouldn't operate until i was old enough that they were confident they could drill through my growth plates without screwing up my development
