Another question for Ed 001 if I may,
Coutinhio and Firmino, both at their best judged by most would be CAM, even though Firmino hasn't been played there yet for Liverpool and Coutunhio has made the position his own, even though in my own opinion I believe Coutinhio is a better player on the left side cutting in and carrying the ball forward than everything that involves playing as a CAM which I think Firmino is an all round better player there, how do you see Klopp utilising both to their natural strengths the most? Considering how much money we spent on Firmino and Rodgers didn't have a clue how to use him properly, what would your opinion be to get the most out of Coutinhio and Firmino for the team?
{Ed001's Note - I would agree with you, Couts on the left cutting in and swapping with Firmino, who starts central. The way Klopp likes to play should allow either to work across any of the 3 positions behind the striker anyway. I expect to see them only really take up a position, as such, when we lose the ball. When we have it they will be moving all over the pitch.}

There's been a lot of debate between my friends about this,they've all gone for Benteke as the striker,But I can't look past studge,who plays much better off the shoulder of the last man. They want Sturridge out wide right cutting in,but that would be a massive waste of his talent for me.
The only way I can see both getting into the team is firmino right,couts left benteke central and sturridge striker,which gives us the out of the long ball,but I once again feel that's a waste of the number 10. I wonder where Ings fits in in all of this.
Ed,would you play milner out wide right? and lucas hendo can in the 2 ahead of he defense? I realise most of this will probably pop up in the podcast. This has all got me really intrigued atm.
{Ed001's Note - the only way Milner should get near the team is if he is out wide, otherwise he should be on the bench. I am with you on Sturridge, Benteke should only play up top with a partner for me.}

I like the idea of benteke through the middle with sturridge and firmino up and around him, with coutinho at a deeper no 10 role. Sturridge not exactly a right wing role but more like inner right, as he spends most of time out there anyway. Firmino works hard and can track runs, sturridge would be less accustomed to it, but I think coutinho needs to pick the ball up deeper in the game and get involved more, especially on the counter

Ibe will come good, give him mpre chance. Ings should definitely not play out wide and man! Ed I agree with you on Milner. my head was in my hands when we signed him and he justifies my scepticism week in week out. he's no midfielder

Ibe's been isolated and targeted by 2 defenders all season,I agree he could have done better in possession,but he's clearly been double marked and not helped by the team with a lack of attempt to get up and support him. Maybe he will improve with more attacking minded play.

I feel a bit bad for Ings,I think his performances have been deserving of a starting sport more than Benteke personally,but Benteke is the multi million striker.
I feel really excited to see our first run out and formation under klopp though I;ve not been this excited about LFC for a couple of years.

I think we're going to see a lot of them moved on and Klopp is going to build a title challenging team. I'd be suprised if more than 4 kept their place. Sturridge Couts Hendo and Clyne. Klopp will find better players than the rest IMO and I'll stand by him. Starting for the first time in many many years to 'believe'

Jones. Klopp will want to win the league. He's a winner. I know as Liverpool fans we hold some sort of emotional ties with players but this manager is an out and out Champion. And he'll build a team that will destroy everyone in it's way. Even Fergie knows this. Say goodbye to the majority of this team and hello to a proper Liverpool team

I'm with jones on this, the squad is good and with just a few minor adjustments could be challenging for the titles. Priority for me would be a keeper and sorting out CB issue ( be it selling lovren and skrtl or playing a system which gets the best out of them) half these players were well sort after by many teams prior to being 'brendaned'. It's not their fault he's pretty much played all of them out of their natural positions in a style of football which involves skrtl as the deep lying playmaker.

Mightyreds , how old is jordan ibe , ffs why don't you give the kid a break do you moanwhen sturridge has a bad game , if he read your post how do you think it would make him play better or worse , he is a young player and i'm glad we have him I've watched him for a long time now and when he has his cinfidence up he is a really good player , he had a bad game and everyone got on his back then he was played out of position he never sulked but tried his best and he still got more stick , he needs some confidence like a lot of the players in our squad after BR and once klopp puts that back into the players then you will see how good he really is , he is also really good at tracking back when we get caught on the break because of his speed but that never gets mentioned by fans on here , the lad is a very good player let him get game time under his belt and if he plays a whole season and plays bad in evry game then you can say you was right

Sterling went through poor form once, its young players for you. I really wouldn't worry about ibe. If he needs to be taken out of the team then klopp will do it.
