I thought with Coutinho being out Teixeira might get a look in especially when considering he played well in the cup game. I really hope going forward he will get a few chances as some of the players ahead of him (Milner and Lallana) aren't exactly pulling up trees at the moment. The kid has serious talent and it would be great if he got more opportunities to show it.

I like him too, one of my fav in fifa manager mode. Eventhough on minimal wage, n quite low stats, he scored 4-5 goals for me last season ;)

Against Swansea, I would have like to have seen a reprisal of our Bournemouth lineup, which arguably would have created more chances with the high press.
With Tex on the left, Firmino in the no. 10, and Ibe on the right, we ran rampant on Bournemouth. Firmino and Tex had a clear understanding, much like Coutinho and Firmino, with Tex using creativity movement to link up with Firmino. Ibe and Firmino also were great.
Benteke sort of ruins such a fluid attack. He normally stands and when his hold up play, is mainly done with his back to the net. He simply doesn't ever turn and run with the ball (he mainly flicks a pass back, and waits for a cross into the box) .
Moreover, with Benteke in our Starting XI, we shift our formation to accommodate him, which leads to a less effective attack.
Against Swansea, Firmino was played out wide, which wastes his own creativity running and passing, which is best centrally. It also had Lallana at no.10, who was largely ineffective. Ibe was isolated on the right, without a no9 or no10 to partner with.
While Origi doesn't have Benteke's powerful strikes, he's better at turning with the ball, and keeping up with a fluid and moving attack.
I'd love to see Firmino as a false 9, Coutinho no 10, Tex on the left wing and Ibe on the right.
