Hi eds,
Who has been your favourite LFC player (s) in the last ten years, since the benitez era? Someone who was bought by Benitez or a manager after him?
{Ed001's Note - favourite would be Lucas, it would have been Carragher but for him taking Sly's money, that sent him down a bit in my estimation it much be said. Different if he was in need of cash, but he is a wealthy man.}

Totally agree about Lucas. He got some sad abuse and yet never bad mouthed the club and yet he still has some fans on his back.

Sø difficult, but as a dane, it for to be Agger. I think he is national treasure. I felt his pain everytime he was injured or left out. But Xabi, Luis Garcia, Lucas and Kuyt where really special too. Hyypia and Carra, although not sig med by Rafa was ikke the perfecti center back pair for me. Loved them to bits.

1. Henderson - Without a scouse hero he's the closest thing to embodying the club.
2. Garcia - Would never set the world alight but scored special goals.
3. Kuyt - No player worked harder for Liverpool than he has.
(P. S. Barry, I don't think anyone abuses Lucas, they just debate whether he's top tier or not) .

Don't blame Torres for leaving we were a mess.
I love the way Sakho plays at centreback, he's exciting and confident but his off the field ambassador role and how seriously he takes it is great to see.

Alonso has to be the best signing made by Benitez, the man is a genius on the ball! Easily my favourite player to watch, him Mascherano and Gerrard in midfield were phenomenal, if we weren't in such a shoddy financial state at the time I think they would have won us a title. Torres also deserves a mention, his first seasons were just effortless.
