Eds and readers,
To get away from the rather tedious repetitive chat over whether Texiera will or will not be moving to our club this January I thought it would be a spot of fun to change the topic.
Who would make your dream fantasy Liverpool 5 a side time (let's just say with players from the Rafa era to present day) and why?
Remember 5 a side is a very different style to normal 11 a side football. So my pick would be:
Reina (class shot stopper, good distribution)
Macherano (good at winning the ball back, can play a pass)
Henderson (he would never stop running, great technique too)
Yossi B (apparently the most skilled Liverpool player in recent years, could beat a man and score a goal)
Suarez (no comment needed)
Who would make it to yours?

{Ed001's Note - has to be Grobs in goal, as he could sweep up so well. Mash really? If you want a passer to win the ball back it has to be Xabi. Souness just over Gerrard for his ability to work back as well as smack one or pick a pass. Fowler, he could dribble and rarely misses. McManaman was a 5-a-side player on a full side pitch anyway, so I would go with him. Though I feel bad leaving out Hansen.}

To be fair any of those three now would have been better than Harry Kewell.

Midfield lacks a real dribbler/ player of skill but we kinda lacked one of them under Rafa so it sort of makes sense.
