I think the SoS group need to read up on the history. They are taking 'pieces' of what is known and remembered and putting together into an ideology. i think the way forward is balance between need for market forces and needs of the fans. the holy trinity might be a romantic idea, but it does actually make practical sense if we get it right.

BTW Shankly himself broke the club transfer record several times in his first season. His first record signing was an expensive flop. He also bought Ray Clemence, Yeats and blended with Callie and Smith. blend and balance.

It's always been a business but one that has to exist wihhinh the community and identify with it. We are a Global Powerhouse but we do sit on a genetic bed of footballers.

I have also travelled to Anfield and end up paying a fortune for tickets off dodge websites so I completely understand the temptation of he owners to price tickets to supply/ demand which would probably be well over Gbp77.

On the other hand I agree with regular fans paying less to ensure tickets are affordable for the regulars and stadium is full, youngsters get to go to games, atmosphere is awesome etc.

Perhaps the answer is most of the tickets should go to season ticket holders and making those cheaper, but keeping a small number of tickets for tourists and registered club members from overseas, and then pricing those to demand much like airlines do?

After travelling from overseas, a ticket of over 100 Gbp is not the end of the world (and far cheaper than the scampers) and availability is more important than price for most international Travelling fans. at least we'd be able to get access when we fly in?

Overall though, hope the owners see sense, reduce the most expensive tickets and it gets resolved, I really want to see the club united and behind Klopp and the team going into next season.

{Ed002's Note - WE are talking about 200 seats for half a dozen games or so a year at £77. That is it - and it is nothing to do with what SOS are looking to achieve}.

What are sos trying to achieve then?

{Ed002's Note - To force the owners out.}
