2 questions for ed 1 1)would you start with sturridge tonight? 2)do Liverpool have any shouters/ nasty characters in the changing room, I personally don't believe they do so any info would be great. lastly I was very impressed with the way pep lijnders handled himself with the media at the weekend. he is a credit to lfc imo.

thanks ed its a area I think we need to improve on. the amount of defeats we have suffered in the last 5 years is shocking. I would rather someone got fed up with it on the pitch when they could affect it, than waiting a few days and doing the customary yes we know the fans are upset blah, blah type interview we all know of by heart. this team needs leaders and never say die types, not nivea for men footballers.

very true ed its like joni Mitchell said you don't know what you've got till its gone, i'm sure you will agree what carra lacked in ability he more than made up with heart and fight as his actions proved at the weekend he still cares about the fans. a pity we didn't clone him!

Agreed with both and in many ways even though Gerrard was the captain I always felt Carra was actually more influential in terms of on pitch management, if you will. Also I think his technical ability was underrated, he was actually a pretty good footballer.

I think you need a certain confidence in your own game to do that role. Carragher gave his all in games and earnt respect so he could have that role. Who in our team would pick the team up when down, I'm not sure.
