It's a tricky debate. On one hand, I want the club to have the most money possible for obvious reasons.
On the other hand I want it to be affordable for Everyone to watch their team.

My view: paying £77 would be more justified if we had Top class players winning trophies.
Nobody should be priced out of game at Anfield when we've got a team only capable of 9th in the premier league.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody was being priced out of a game at Anfield. The £77 tickets related to 200 seats for a total of six games a season. It is not about that nonsense - it is about driving the owners out.}

agree with Ed, some times we don't realise we are on to a good thing. if these owners drop us then we will know about it.

It would be a travesty if we lose the support of the owners. I'm glad the ticket argument was resolved - full credit to the them.

Anyone wanting to remove FSG must be off their rocker given the sensible way they've approached most things to do with the club (no one's perfect) .

Thankfully the owners agree with us fans and not ed002,after sitting down and thinking about it!

{Ed002's Note - Try not to make yourself look like an idiot. They were being threatened and gave in - as I explained (and perhaps you don't grasp), this £77 relates to a handful of seats for half a dozen games. The target is not that but forcing the owners to sell and now using the tactic of bring financial pressure through attacks on the club sponsors.}

I don't believe FSG are bad owners. We could have a lot worse.
Some ex players need to move on. and let the Club move on without their interference and influence.

I can see this all ending in tears, I'm forced to agree with you Ed02, the sad thing is the criticism hasn't stopped.
I honestly believe this is a case of 'be careful what you wish for'
Didn't hear anybody complaining about FSG when they got us out of the mess left by H+G, but let's hound them out and end up with far worse owners! That sounds like a good plan.

What is there reason to drive the owners out? They've come in helped the club out of the mess the last owners had us in. They've given us plenty of cash to spend on transfers. New stand, new sponsors. Maybe there is something I don't see with them, that would cause these fan groups to want to get rid.

Why the pretence to consult with fans?
It was supposed to be 4000 tickets on general admission and 4000 hospitality of the new capacity.
But an extra 834 tickets were designated as 'lower-level hospitality' and priced at £175 for Category A games, £100 for Category B and £85 for Category C.
What lower-level hospitality is has not been revealed. Maybe a box of popcorn or a soda-pop with your seat.

ED02, we had this debate a few days ago and it isn't just 200 seats @ £77 that was the problem, there is thousands up from £59 to between £62 and £75, so to give a fair view on it that needs to be mentioned as does the free seats and £9 seats for people to decide on the pro's and con's of any changes.

Again, as per our debate a few days ago you will know I am not one of those who want FSG out, it will now be interesting to see if the SOS or any other fan groups protest at the removal of categories which effectively puts the prices of games up v Bournemouth, Watford etc etc, I know you say the SOS want FSG out, maybe over the next few days we will find out if your assumptions are correct.

Also Ed, you have mentioned a number of times that the ultimate aim of SOS is for fan ownership of the club, I'm not sure anyone who knows the background to "Share Liverpool " I think it was called would feel it is ever possible to reach that aim as when the idea was floated about fans injecting money it never came anywhere near enough to be able to buy the club and I am sure all from SOS are aware of that, maybe you are wrong in assuming that is the ultimate aim of SOS. Be interesting to hear from any SOS member who has a view on that.

{Ed002's Note - SOS were the ones who wanted the categories removed. I am not wrong with what the ultimate aim of SOS is and I am not sure why you want to suggest I am.}

It's literally on the SoS website under ''About" -> "Aims" -> "Ultimate Aim", 18and5

- Supporter ownership of Liverpool Football Club.
