Just wanted to say I was very sceptical of young Kevin Stewart at first but after the West. Ham game I'm 'very impressed with him. I definitely think he should keep his place for the European games and to cover injuries. Long term I would definitely see him as possibly Lucas replacement. He's quick not afraid to tackle can pass so no point going out and spending money we ain't got when we have a player here already. What you all think?

Totally agree Barry start using these young players with experienced players to bring them on and save a fortune on blowing money we do not have
Up the pool.

that is the sort of smart thinking we need going forward. using what we have, no need to spend £20million on some fancy name type. we have invested in stewart and the other lads let's see what they are made of. also the money saved here can go where its needed ie a quality goalkeeper. its going to be an interesting summer seeing who klopp keeps and who he gets rid off.

Thanks for your positive comments lads. I to can't wait to see what JK will do in the summer. Ed001 said there are plan's to trim the squad and use the young lads as cover for injuries. I think that's a fantastic idea. It saves the club money but also gives the young lads valuable experience.

Using the youth players who are clearly talented, to pad the squad while signing two, three top class signings to improve the first eleven, was what many were asking for but BR refused. Many defended him for not using the youth because according to them, BR knew them best hence if they were not playing, it's because BR doesn't think they're good enuff.

It was hogwash then, it is huge pile of crap now. TG Klopp gave them a chance and Stewart, Smith, Ilori, Ojo, Brannagan and Tex showed they were up to the task. Stewart especially, is one to watch. Can tackle, pass and shoot with either foot. Great lads for the future.
