The amount of poison online is unreal. I keep seeing so many people happy about how Ederson might not be playing at weekend due to injury. That's not on, I don't even rate him so it makes no difference to me but wanting a player injured to give us some sort of advantage? it's wrong and that's that.

I'd prefer to play their full starting 11 and show them who's boss, why? because we're the champions of Europe and we're damn right capable.

Believe, no matter what.

I do think Ederson is a decent keeper though.

I do agree with that other than Ederson. For me he is certainly doing better than Alison at this moment in time. Obviously Alison coming back from injury but even then he is at the same level as Alison was before the injury.

I understand your point but you got to rate him. He's a very good goal keeper, one of the best to be honest, still behind Ali but a very very good goalie.

Would you be saying that if they’d lied about injuries? I mean given that they don’t have to play without silva even though he was meant to be banned is enough of an Advantage for them.

I don't know what's going on in social media but surely there is a difference between wishing injury on a person vs. counting your blessings if a superstar opposition player is unavailable.

I for one will have no issue with Utd supporters being happy that Salah was unavailable against them 2 weeks ago as it likely earned them an extra point.

Hope Ederson makes a quick recovery. After Sunday.

Don't understand the hype with Ederson. Im with Salah. The guy is excellent with his feet and a good distributor but he makes a lot of errors and fails to save some easy shots. He seems to get away with a lot that Mignolet and Karius used to get slaughtered for. He is not a patch on Alisson. There is a reason he is the Brazil No1 over Ederson.

Lets be honest, preferring Bravo to start is natural, it is not wishing bad on Ederson, it is just that Bravo is great.

I bet many City fans would be happy if Mane had picked up an injury. Its natural, not nasty.

Ederson is not a poor keeper but there is a reason Alisson is number one for Brazil, I would say Ederson is better with his feet but Alisson isn't exactly poor in that department and is superior in all other departments.

ed047 I think with the ball at his feet Ederson is in a class of his own but at shot stopping and the reading of the game he is nowhere near at the level of Alisson it helps. That most teams believe the hype about city and don't even have a go at them look at Villa the other week against them did not even try to attack them. And Palace the week before that they did not have a CB on the pitch and I don't know how late they left it to bring Benteke on might not be the best forward in the world but he would win nearly ball in the air against them.

Ederson brings a lot of confidence to the way City play. Did you see how nervous their back four instantly looked after Bravo game on. Personally id prefer city play their under 23s Sunday but they will be at relative full strength so we will have to beat them fair and square I guess.

Frankly, who cares if Ederson plays or not. We have pummeled City several times with him playing so again, who cares? Those posting crap on SM need to get over themselves cos really, it makes no diff. to us whether Ederson plays or not. If we play our best, he is a sitting duck esp. for that paperweight of a defence they have.

As for Ederson being better than AB1, I fully disagree. Ederson is error-prone, rash, has poor-decision making and is kind of a hot-head. He also seems to concede at near every good shot on target and we are seeing that now as he has been at fault for a few goals already this season. As someone said, he makes mistakes Mingo and Karius would get ripped for. Now does Ederson fit the way City play? Yes, and is a very good GK but IMO, he ain't AB1. Not even close. AB1 males diff. saves look easy cos he has great positional awareness. Can't say the same for Ederson.

Over dramatic post, nobody has been wishing injury or hurt to the guy, . Only a case of him already having suffered a minor muscle injury that fans are hoping sees him miss our game with the dodgy Bravo in place.

How's that anything malicious from us fans, he's got a short term injury that we haven't previously wished upon him, simply seeing the advantage it might give us if he were to be unavailable for Sunday. No need for the drama whatsoever.
