LFC rejected a £7 mill offer for Nat Philips last summer and now the guy is away to championship on loan. Well done ruining a players career.

Ruined a players career?
Learning from the best manger in the world.
Training along side one of the best centre backs in word football. Got a improved contract that could potentially set him up for life. Been given Champions league experience

He knew what was in front of him, if he was unhappy. Why didn’t he ask to leave? It’s not on the club that. He has options too.

7M? His head alone is worth way more. That 7m offer is a slap in the face to Nat Phillips, IMO.

You really do talk absolute cabbage at times, don't you, Harry? I miss reading some of your posts, just none like this.

Nat Phillips's Cruyff turn at the San Siro alone was worth 7m.

Very strange how no Premier League manager seems to have taken up the chance to bring Nat to their club be it a full time transfer or on loan.

The only thing i can think of is young Williams looked good on occasions last season and Klopp initially preferred him and Fab or Hendo ahead of Phillips in the team. And Williams has struggeld for game time in the Championship this seaosn hence his loan being cut short.

Also wherever he goes he won't have Allison behind him, Trent and robbo to the side of him and Fab and Thiago sweeping up and giving him options just ahead of him. Or Mane and Salah running the channels.

For me wherever Phillips goes the ball will firmly be in his court to showcase that he can still do it at another club.

I think a good loan spell will not only get him his permanent move to get more football but it should secure the club the valuation they seem to be holding out for.

Another not very well thought out post by TT. Agreed JK, Nat has the chance now to showcase his talents which will eventually enhance his value. A very good move for him imo.

These posts are becoming increasingly attention seeking and embarrassing.

He’s better then burns Newcastle bought! Weird he’s better then a lot of defenders in the epl.

31 Jan 2022 17:08:59
Any club that doesn’t value Nat Phillips at atleast £15m doesn’t actually want him or value him at all it’s that simple. If I was him and a club wouldn’t pay £15m for me I wouldn’t want to join them!

Nats a good lad, think there's a bit of overhyping of him though on here though. let's see how he gets on playing every week in the Championship. if he's as good as some think he is we'll get plenty of offers in the summer.

31 Jan 2022 17:38:48
It’s all up to the lad now. I think he is a great guy but I don’t feel he is as good as many make out on here.

31 Jan 2022 17:49:45
It takes Harry to be miserable in a window where we've signed Luis Diaz and are looking to get Carvalho in. At least he'll get a record number of thumbs down out of his post.

We kept Phillips in the summer because we had three central defenders coming back from long term injury. How were we supposed to be sure that one or more wouldn't break down again as soon as they started playing?

If half a season ruins his career, then he wasn't that good in the first place. This isn't Markovic who we kept around the place for years.

{Ed0666's Note - I think ironically this loan will enhance his value. He’ll get promoted with Bournemouth and have more suitors in the summer

31 Jan 2022 18:04:57
I also read that there's a purchase agreement if Bournemouth get promoted. Which would be the best for all parties involved, imo.
Thanks for everything Nat. You will always have that "cryuff turn" at the San Siro, and the Burnley goal. A true CULT HERO.

31 Jan 2022 18:08:07
What Ed0666 said.

The lad deserves to get game time and show what he's made of. A win-win for him and LFC if he does well.

31 Jan 2022 18:23:00
Surely his profile has been elevated after last season and a loan isn't going to hurt him at all, going to a near cert for promotion will surely have a few more teams clamour for him.

personally think 7 mil is to cheap as he looks like he could be a really solid player, he's earned his money, he's trained at some of the best facilities, with some of the best players in the world.

look if he wasnt happy he wouldn't of signed a new deal and left for free and a bigger payday surely.

31 Jan 2022 18:32:22
Same applies to Williams also so I hope he does agree a loan too.
