What an exceptional talent we have signed in Diaz, absolutely delighted to lift the cup, especially against a two legged semi against Arsenal and a great team like Chelsea. Yesterday was a 50 50 game, but to come out on top is fantastic.

I remember people mocked him last summer when he was linked to Everton. The guy is the best dribbler in the league. he is as good as an in-form Leroy Sane who use to rip players for fun. He is an outstanding talent.

Very impressed by Diaz, the best thing is he’s going to get stronger and even better by being at, and playing with, Liverpool.

I'm confused. I thought we couldn't buy players of Diaz's quality without selling half our squad to raise the £billions necessary?
Diaz is a fantastic acquisition and is ongoing proof that the club don't need to smash transfer records to sustain/ improve the squad with every signing they make.

I concur. Diaz absolutely looks the part. I thought he was absolutely fantastic yesterday and as good as our front 3 have been with Mane, Salah and Bobby / Jota Diaz actually gives us something different to what they do. Which I wouldn’t have believed was possible.

Yeah, VVVV. Spurs tried to be too clever and tried to hijack the deal only for us to say you know what? We’ll just take him now thank you very much. Now, he has given us new life and this like you said, thanks to Spurs.
{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure Spurs hijacked a deal I think we did the hijacking if anything. There was no agreement in place with Liverpool. In fact Spurs & West Ham we’re further down the road in signing Diaz last month than we were. I’m sure Liverpool had a watching brief and asked Porto to keep them abreast of any developments and then we snooped in. Excellent work by Ward & Edwards!!
