Here's the thing lad's the FA want's Billy Elliott to write to them and explain why he was holding a red flare in his hand ok?
Well then maybe in return the FA can write to every club and explain how VAR has become the MOST SHAMBOLIC system ever in the history of football.
Now I know people will say that it's not the FA that run it but it's them that allow it to be used at game's. Its not just about what happened against Everton it's about ALL the farcical decisions that have gone against clubs when normal people can see the wrong decisions.
It's a joke and we as ordinary supp.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know he's got nimble feet but think that comparison is a bit much .

Oh wow, the FA are really on this whole Harvey Elliott thing, aren't they? Pity they don't have the same energy when there are refs literally influencing the outcome of games via despicable refreeing decisions on a weekly basis. Sad.

You reckon Lukaku was offside Oli? Not all VAR decisions are incorrect? Just saying.

Awk WDW, I thought he was onside but then I thought Matips goal should have stood. Its not about questioning the calls that really voild have went either way its about the mind boggling ridiculous calls they can't seem to get right when anybody looking at it can tell the correct call.

The Everton penalty was a stonewall, the penalty City hot in the Wolves match never hit his arm, Arsenal were denied another stonewall penalty and Newcastle too, ironically cleaned out by the same keeper. Kane should have been sent off and Jota had a stonewall penalty not given.

Like I said, the op wasn't talking about those tight calls that could go either way but highlighting how they miss the most blatantly obvious and choose not to act in these situations, or even punish those responsible or do anything to make sure it doesn't happen again, but given Elliott had a flare, well that warrants serious attention.

WDW personally, I don't think Lukaku was offside BUT one can make an argument that VVD was not offside either cos some may say (not me) that there not enuff contact on Reece. For me if they are calling it that tight for LFC on the VVD incident then it is only fair that they call it tight for both teams hence, for the Lukaku goal which based on the rules (I disagree) was offside by his shoulder or something. I don't like this dumb rule BUT it is what it is and should be applied equally, which it was. Just my take.

I agree with you Oli, my point was in the majority of cases VAR seems to be a useful tool. It started off badly and still isn’t perfect but is now tainted because a lot of fans have negative preconceptions.
