It seems that Leeds May well be relegated this season

It seems also this trend keeps happening: superb / decent managers who helped a team of very average players over achieve and after that they believe they are some super stars and the team falls apart or some of these players move on to the elite teams and don't quite make it. At times, the owners are the idiots who replace the managers, believing they can do better and next thing they are not seen in epl soon

- in early 2000s was Ipswich Town
- Charlton Athletic with Alan Curbishly in the 2000s
- Newcastle with Rafa (their recent $ May have just saved them, w/ o which, they were certain to go down)
- more recently, Leicester with Raneiri.

{Ed0666's Note - or the fact that Leeds have a tiny squad, have been decimated by injuries and Covid.

I can’t remember Newcastle overachieving with Rafa. His and Bruce’s league records aren’t too dissimilar there.

{Ed001's Note - Rafa was given a lot less to spend and took over a team that was far worse and improved it massively. You can't compare the 2 simply on results.}

Leeds entire system was built around Kalvin Philips and he has been out injured for most of the season. They also don’t have a striker or a back up. What do you expect them to pull?

The reason this Leeds team even made it to the PL is BECAUSE of Bielsa, IMO. Why? Simple. A lot of their players that got them up where Championship to League One standard and Bielsa was the great equalizer. Now it seems his time has run it’s course like it dries everywhere he goes and he either leaves or gets sacked. The latter happened with Leeds. Will they stay up? I don’t know cis I have no idea why they hired a manager who got sacked at RBL this season to help them beat the drop. None whatsoever.
