Why are Man City so annoyingly good? Three seasons now we've been behind got a record points total and waiting for them to slip up and they don't not one single time. Really are no words for them they are a machine. Hate doing this season after seaosn when we have the best squad I've ever seen! . What could have been hey! .

It helps when every team gives up so easily, city have 92% possession in the last 15 mins, united are pathetic, totally given up! .

Tbh it was a long shot united beating them, they are shockingly poor and DDG saves them so many points. Personally, I'm just glad we are in the top tier and challenging for trophies every season after the barren years where we were never a real threat. Everyone fears us now and ups their game to play us. If city win the league then over 38 games they played better and had the rub of the green if we win same applies to us but no longer are Liverpool a team fighting for top 4 places.

Op they played one of the s#%#%#% Utd teams ever cool your jets!
If anyone thought Utd would turn up today your deluded! Hopefully they miss out on top 4 now!

Utd didn't even have 1 attempt in that 2nd half. they are absolutely embarrassing.

We'll still catch City.

OP, you must have been hoping that Utd soul actually show up and put a shift in. If you thought that then, that’s your own doing. Everton and Spurs played a lot better vs City than Utd did. City play the way they normally play and had Utd even bothered to make a tackle, they would have had a chance after all, they have the better squad than Spurs, Everton and even LFC or so “the experts” on here and on the media kept telling us esp after they signed the semi retired pensionaire. Chill out, man. If we win all our games, we win the title. It’s that simple.

Only one thing is for sure at this point - both City and us can't win all their remaining games.
That West Ham match yesterday was a perfect example of grinding a result out when you're labouring a bit against capable opposition. That's a fantastic asset to have, it'll keep the pressure on City, hopefully a few cracks will being to show a la Spurs recently.
And United are cack, a Harrods version of Everton buying ill suited overrated players and getting their fingers well and truly burned in the process. Flattering to deceive whilst slipping down the table, and I fricking love it.

Whoever bought Maguire should be made to stand in front of Manchester Town Hall so that passers by can laugh at them.

I’m very, very nearly a pensioner but if Maguire is picked to play international football I must definitely still be in with a chance of a call up.

City being so good does not take away from how good we are. LFC’s current team is one of the best in our history and it just so happens City are also at that same level of quality. The only difference is they have a tad more consistency and at such high levels that can make the difference. Whilst I would love LFC to win everything in sight, I am also happy to see two great sides competing at such high levels. It’s great to watch. Much rather this than Germany for example where there is no competition.
