At this point in his career is Mane best served as a striker through the middle? Or on the left? .
On the evidence of Diaz he can cause havoc on the left a bit like when mane first joined .
I mention this cos I actually like mane's work centrally scoring goals and harrasing defenders, its great for squad depth also .

I like Mane playing through the middle.
Saying that, his inclusion with Diaz and Salah allows him to interchange with both wide men very comfortably.
His speed and work rate can also see him roam much more freely than Bobby, although his touch and vision aren’t as good.
But Klopp has very good options up front now, we can really mix and match as required or available.

Mane will be busy where he plays on the pitch haha at the moment the way Diaz has started ya feel like he has to be on the pitch.

I’d say through the middle, he’s still got tricks, strength, low center of gravity, but seems to have lost a little of that absolutely electric burst of pace he had - Diaz is insanely fast too - so Mane in the middle makes more sense in my opinion.

His place has gone to Diaz and I expect Liverpool to buy one more attacking player in the summer meaning he is back to bench.

Mane has never been benched since he arrived. not for any real length of time.

When was Mane ever "back to the bench" As far as I know he has always been a starter.

I'm a big Mane fan and its great to see him returning from the Afcon to prove some doubters wrong.

I've seen many a time this season fans give reasoning for keeping Mino and Origi but are more than happy for Mane to be moved on. But for me their output combined is nowhere near and 14 goals and 2 assists isn't too shabby for a player who is supposedly passed it.

I'd love to see us keep all of our forwards moving forward but i would prefer to keep Mino and Origi to compliment the squad rather than to replace Mane, Salah or Bobby.

Diaz has been a sensation since coming in and will only get better.

Only my opinion but for me if all players were fit and we had to field our strongest front 3 to win us the League or CL in a one off game then it would be

Salah, Mane and Diaz.

Then only my opinion its Jota then Bobby then Origi and Mino.

Let's give Diamond Diaz a rest every now and then and keep him hungry to fight for his place. I like what we are doing with the front 5 each of them has to perform hence why Salah was doing his upmost to score against WHU, I felt the Egyptian King had some pressure on him in that game.

After calling for a stronger squad it seems like it is a struggle for us fans to get our heads around the fact that we have 5 quality options for 3 forward positions. Enjoy it whilst we have it I say.

I think Sadio Mane has had a pretty good season so far. 14 goals whilst a month away at AFCON. He's got two trophies already this season and has always been fit and available. He's played really well in the no9 position and in general he never stops running/ fighting even when things are not going his way.

We need Sadio - and Bobby - as we face the most intense stage of the season.

Definitely through the middle. He’s better than jota there. Can drop deep, go out wide and most importantly hold it up and link play. Jota for me struggled with the link up there.
