Hello ed1 hope u keeping well? On our last 3/ 4 games (since cup final) we look bit sluggish or slow, do u think it is the squad trying to pace themselves due too so many games or tiredness? Or just a bit of blip performance wise.

Physically they will be fine, but mentally the pressure has changed so much over recent years. Players can no longer escape into a pub and relax. They are never given a chance to rest their mind and get away from football.}

Wondering if I could please change the subject completely and that is are all ho. e games always all tickets by that I mean would like to takes grand kids to best atmosphere in world football is a ticket only way to get in or cash turnstile on the day any recommendations please feel free?

And I imagine the last 2 years have been harder than the usual seasons, on the mind. We've all been affected directly or indirectly, and these footballers have certainly not been spared. The high expectations have remained the same but the environment (and some of the comforts) is not the same.

If that's the case Ed, do you see the same thing happening to City, because at the minute they don't seem to be suffering neither physically or mentally.

Really good conversation this - I think the pressure on the squad is huge and isn’t generally a factor when people provide their post match analysis.

I mentioned in a different thread that Mo has looked ‘down’ since AFCON. In his case if you factor in the stuff referred to in this conversation and add the stress caused by the contract negotiations / uncertainty and also losing in the AFCON Final and carrying the expectations of everybody in a Egypt n his shoulders, it’s no wonder the bloke is down.
