Ed0666 I think the international break and the champions league draw could have a massive part in title run in. Hoping for a good draw Friday and a clean bill of health after the dreaded international break.

{Ed0666's Note - Grino not getting any injuries in the International break is critical for our quest for unprecedented history. April 2022 is the most important month for all Liverpool fans in living history. Can you imagine getting City in the CL draw and playing them 3 times in April? I’m fact there more I think of it the more dreadful that sounds. Just give us Villarreal please 🙏🏼. My mate has bought a ticket for the last game of the season against wolves & booked a hotel in Paris 😂

Agree0 Disagree0

can we get Athletico again 0666?

{Ed0666's Note - yes mate. There’s no restrictions anymore. Two teams from the same city can’t play on consecutive days. So Atleti can’t play on Tuesday and Real the following day because of policing issues. City can’t play Tuesday and United can’t play Wednesday…oh wait 😂

17 Mar 2022 13:53:32
Jonesy227, I wouldn't be surprised if we got Atleti again.

17 Mar 2022 13:49:30
Nice one Lol
Wouldn't mind them again either then.

{Ed0666's Note - I want an easy draw on Friday we’ll on payer anyway there’s no easy teams. But I want Real Madrid at some stage if we’re lucky enough to get into the semi or final. Madrid would be a dream final or indeed City (would love to see Silva sob)

17 Mar 2022 13:52:05
Think benfica will be a dream draw for us if we get them at this point of the season where we look tired and a bit leggy.

{Ed0666's Note - fingers crossed for Friday mate 🙏🏼

17 Mar 2022 13:58:51
Benfica are the team to get.

Athleti are the team I most want to avoid. They are the ultimate spoilers and a terrible watch. I'd prefer man city to playing them.

17 Mar 2022 14:01:29
No one will want to draw and play us over 2 x legs that's the best part.

{Ed0666's Note - yes I agree but we don’t need a draw against City, Chelsea, Madrid at this stage

17 Mar 2022 14:08:49
I'll take Benfica thanks.

17 Mar 2022 14:10:12
Bring on city, I hope we get them. They'll fail under pressure, don't underestimate the other teams. Any team at this stage can cause an upset. Might as well go for one of the best, I hope we get city because we'll do it.

17 Mar 2022 14:11:04
what about Bayern?

17 Mar 2022 14:34:08
One of Benfica/ Villarreal would be the perfect draw for us, not just because they are weaker, but because it would mean Man City and Chelsea get very difficult ties. I hope those two are drawn against each other and Real Madrid are left to deal with Bayern.

{Ed0666's Note - love those scenarios mate

17 Mar 2022 15:26:49
I think given the schedule around the City match, it would be nice to be drawn in the next round against an easier opponent, at least on paper. So Benfica, Villarael or Real Madrid would do me.

17 Mar 2022 16:21:21
I heard earlier that next round of Fa cup is weekend of City game. So if one of us gets through this weekend it’ll be rescheduled.

17 Mar 2022 16:23:46
I think it’s about time we got some luck in this seasons Champions League. We were handed the group of death and initially drew the weakest team for the round of 16 but ended up with the champions of Italy! I’ll take anyone at this stage but Bayern and City, surely we are due a bit of luck on that front? Dream draw is Benfica and then have City and Bayern play each other. Watching them getting knocked out of Europe by Bayern could also have an impact on their performance on the domestic front as well.

17 Mar 2022 16:38:45
We get who we get. We will win it because we are the best team in the competition.

17 Mar 2022 16:55:44
Next round of the cup is the Villa game.

17 Mar 2022 16:54:45
Hello Ed0666
You did make me chuckle with your City and United unable to play on consecutive days.

{Ed0666's Note - United made my 2000’s unbearable. I couldn’t afford sky so had to beg people to watch it round their houses and i don’t know what was more embarrassing people not opening their front doors to me when the game was on or the abject performances we used to put out. Anyway now United can appreciate what we went through for sooooo many years. As I said a couple of days ago United have it worse than us not only are we miles ahead of them in a footballing sense City are also. It must be horrible being a United fan at the moment. But I still want a United side that’s challenging because it’s no fun beating a poor United team it’s only satisfying when they are good.

17 Mar 2022 17:27:29
Did not see the Man U game last night. Turned on for some of the after match analysis. It does appear that Rio and Scholes are actually lapping up the difficulties currently at Old Trafford. Then there was the we are Manchester United we can get any manager we want. Long may the drought continue.

17 Mar 2022 17:45:28
The United forum is a good read. Quite a lot of them think they will be getting any manager they want and spending another. £ 500m on underperforming never wassers. Good to see. It reminds me of the 70’s after Sir Matt Busby retired in some ways, the days of the legendary Wilf McGuiness, Frank O’Farrell et al. With a bit of luck they’ll be in the championship in a couple of years 😁😁.

17 Mar 2022 18:08:15
If we win on Sunday. We could potentially play City 4 times in a row in April by drawing them in the fa cup and champions league. Nightmare scenario!

17 Mar 2022 16:49:47
Ed0666 I would love Chelsea v city and the winners get Madrid v Bayern.
And we get Benfica then we get the winners of Villarael v A Madrid.
Would be like a dream come true lol.

{Ed0666's Note - my dreams are a little different to yours Grino 😂

17 Mar 2022 18:30:32
Have to say I disagree Ed0666. Man Utd made my school life pretty miserable. I'm quite happy for them to scrap for 4th every year for the rest of my life!

Oh how I wish I was in school while this Liverpool side play.

{Ed0666's Note - my boss was an absolute prick at the time we were rubbish in the 2000’s & to make it worse the owner of the company I worked for was a was a spurs fan and my immediate boss was a spud and they were going through a purple patch finishing second a couple of times and I think they won a champions league game but anyway they also regularly beat us so made it worse. But anyway I take extreme and perverse pleasure in texting them a 100 times a a day when spurs lose and do what spurs do.

17 Mar 2022 20:50:44
Rubbish in 2000’s - treble in 2001, champions league 2005, fa cup 2006 etc. The 90’s were far worse.

{Ed0666's Note - that’s what I meant

18 Mar 2022 04:20:11
I want city. Because that gives city the headache too. Yes its do or die for both teams and it ends the debate for who is best team in england and who is the best coach in the world.
If we smash out city in the league then they have their their backs against us in CL and that extra pressure is something city isn't used to.
I think if we get city we can use it as a motivational factor to set all records as straight and truly begin the new chapter of domination in football.
I really don't want villareal or athleti cuz they will play highly negative football and that is just somewhere we are still vulnerable.
