I’ve just listened to Klopps press conference on it and he doesn’t sound like a man who’s just lost one of his world class players that we don’t have an out and out understudy for.

Forget Cheltenham if you want a banker bet it’ll be Trent plays against Watford.

I mean he could still really be injured but even if he is, it’s only 3-4 weeks and two of those are during an international break. Fairly confident he’ll be back for the City game at the latest.

Really don’t give a damn about England or that plonker Southgate.

I know some players are desperate to play for their country but honestly would you want to play with Pickford Maguire and Grealish?

If Trent’s place isn’t already guaranteed then why bother.

If Southgate doesn’t know how good Trent is then he should t be allowed anywhere near a football squad.

There is no chance for England at the World Cup with Southgate in charge and with players like Maguire around.

England are light years behind the top club sides like LFC.

Truth be told, at this stage of the season, no players need it!

It’s time to scrape these useless intl breaks w friendlies. If I’m in charge of fifa and Uefa (which obviously I Nv will cause they’ll lose big $ w me), there should only b intl breaks for competitive matches mid season (Ie qualifiers) . Teams tt r gg for these big competitions can then organise their own friendlies, at the end of the season, leading up to the competitions.

Thinking abt it, won’t be a bad idea to switch the UCL back to a KO only format, make the EFL cup semis to be one-legged on a neutral ground. I’m still thinking abt if FA cup should also scrape replies but it does benefit small clubs…

End of day, Players will get more rest, the calendar can be more spaced out, mid season break can be a reality.

Heard Klopps press conference earlier and he said that Scotland have announced 6 and England 4 international friendlies during the summer break 🤦🏻‍♂️.
