So would disagree about Mpabbe as I think both Neymar and Messi are regarded by PSG as higher value players and I think that's why he wants to leave.
If Salah went to PSG he would be continually fighting for the No 1 position with the other 2 stars.
Bayern have Lewandowski and tactics are built around him. At Salahs age its to late in his career for a club to start buying players to build around him. For it to work for him he has to move into a team that has those players and he is the missing link.
Yes he could make a difference to every team but is that difference worth a transfer fee and 400k pw.
Suppose we won the CL this year does that make his choice more difficult or doesn't that matter to him?

Agree0 Disagree0

He will move to Barcelona as they will miss out on both Haaland and Mbappe. Xavi rates him very high. Barcelona will use his contract situation to reduce the transfer fee. Wages won’t be an issue over there.

If we get to the champions league final and he’s not signed, I’d say the writing is on the wall. Barcelona are going to seriously lowball us or try to throw in some absolute duds into to the deal as they’re still skint.

Salah already has a nice collection of medals, if he moves he can ensure his family and his extended family will never have to worry about money again. Can you blame him? Would you not think real hard about it, if the offer is there of course.

Why anybody would consider going to Barcelona is beyond me, a win against a poor Real Madrid team and it’s like all of their problems have disappeared. La liga is really poor at the moment, hence traore and aubameyang looking half decent.

He’s 30, it’s his last big contract - he missed out at RM and Barcelona because of his agent’s alleged silly demands.

It’s not really about the club he goes to now, it’s about money which is fair enough - it is about money for most of the working people in the world. Mo is no different.

The question is do Liverpool want to pay hundreds of thousands a week for the next five years for someone who might lose form, pick up a debilitating injury or who is replace in 2 or 3 years time by the next 22 year old destined to be an all time great at Liverpool.

At the end of the day, the decision lies with the club. Will they able to reach an agreement with Mo that the club is happy to pay. If ‘yes’ then that’s great and we keep a great player. If not, then great, let’s get cracking with the ‘life after Mo’ plan.

Personally I’d be happy either way but, if I was Diaz or Elliot or TAA or Fabs or any other of a number of players’ agent I’d be straight onto social media if they do decide to break the pay structure for a 30 year old. (Or 31 as he will inevitably be next year)

If Diaz actually thinks he is worth the same pay grade as Salah then he needs a doctor lol. Let Diaz hit 20 goals for a season to demand a pay rise. Undermining someone who scores goals like machine only satisfy ones ego.

{Ed001's Note - what are you wittering on about now? Diaz has never said any such thing. What is the point in your post other than to do your usual slagging off session of a Liverpool player?}

Seems ok for Salah to chase the money.
Is it ok for FSG to chase the money too? or in this chase, save their money?

Talk of £70m from Barca.

Harry, you must be confused. Diaz just got here so where did he say he wants more money or is this one of your pointless statements aimed at getting a reaction from others?
